Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 21

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 21. If you made it this far without missing a deadline give yourself a pat on the back. And if you think you’re tired just imagine how the players are feeling! This is the last GW in the marathon Christmas period though, so you them and us all can breathe a sigh of relief and take a break for a week or so to recover.

New Year’s Day itself has a disappointingly low number of fixtures with just three games this year, for some bizarre reason. Everton and Leicester kick us off at lunchtime before Arsenal and Fulham play the solitary ‘traditional’ 3pm game on their lonesome. Cardiff and Spurs bring up the rear at 5.30pm.

We then skip to Wednesday evening for the bulk of this week’s action with 6 games in total. The remaining one is on Thursday night and should in theory be the game of the week, if not the whole Christmas period, or indeed the season. If only they all had any legs left… Oh, it’s Man City vs Liverpool by the way. Cracking time to play what may be a season decider that isn’t it?!

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 21 from all at FF247!

After a torrid December where I lost my lead in my mini league and my overall ranking seen red arrows all the way…..a change of month has seen a pleasant change in fortunes.

45 points with five players gets the game week off to a more than decent start.

Late PEA assist and goal and captain kane with a goal, an assist and three bonus points well did the trick.

Looking for hazard and Salah doing nothing and both liverpool and city to concede.

Always nice to read about somebody doing well; 45 is a stirring and inspirational start to the week.

However, given that I daresay many on here have Hazard as their captain, I hope he knocks in at least two tomorrow. I don’t own him myself, but know that his success will bring joy to many. And that’s always pleasant to behold.

But maybe you speak within the confines of whoever it is you’re chasing in your mini-league?

Straight after the Man United game.

      • AJW says:

Yes, apparently Sir Alex & OGS have arranged to drop him off at the airport in a mini-cab – I DO hope they’ve booked it for after the match and not beforehand, by mistake!!! They’ll probably be passing by Stansted on their way back up north I guess!
Hey everyone – Happy New Year!!!! Hope you’re all having a fruitful GW. smile

        • Kralin says:

Hopefully they won’t try to flog him some hooky DVDs on the way there.

Happy new year to you, too.

        • AJW says:

You mean something like the Sunderland video that seems to be popping up on Netflix? Compelling viewing I must add, but I guess old VHS copies of Home Alone 1 & 2 might be more appropriate (with special dedication from Harry and Mauricio!).
Yes Kralin old mate, I must thank you and all your colleagues for your kind and benevolent care this past year. Keep on surprising us as well, with your cultural and literary references – it’s always enjoyable!

        • AJW says:

Hmm – no replies – have all you ‘Poms’ gone back to work?
Hahaha! Happy New Year to all!

    Happy New Year Everyone!

I brought Pogba in for a -4 …didn’t want to take the same hit last GW which in hindsight was a mistake. However, 20-20 vision in the rear view mirror is a pointless exercise. Hoping for the Pog to continue his impressive form tonight.
My team if anyone interested. Trying out a stronger midfield at the expense of a weaker defence.
