Not sure if its been said yet but Takumi Minamino (pools new player) has been added at 6.5m. 42 goals in 136 games for Salzburg. Usually plays as a wing, read klopp might make him a CF or possibly a midfielder due to injuries.

Anyone think hes worth a punt? He also wont play any champions league games, so if pool go out of the fa cup his premier league time could be higher.

Evening everyone. Which one of these would you go for?

    A. Henderson, Kabasele and Lucas Moura out -> Fabianski, Robbo and 4.4 mid or less in
    B. Baldock, Kabasele and Lucas Moura out-> Robbo, Balbeuna and 5.2 mid in

I totally understand the reasons for early transfers whether it be a player with a long term injury, a suspension or a price drop in the selling player or price increase in a player being purchased.

I also get it as not too many first team players will be playing in the fa cup 3rd round.

But there is a semi final 1st leg this midweek where I would imagine that Manchester United, Manchester city, Leicester city and Aston villa will be playing their strongest teams.

Just offering some food for thought.

Really good points. I’d also advise staying away if possible from price rise / fall prediction sites as what you’re being led by is not necessarily going to help your team. It can have the flavour of a stampede for the exit.

Other side I suppose is just be reconciled to having to take a hit to pay for impetuosity.

Hello one and all – am determined not to enact my GW moves until after next GW, so as to have 2FTs – to limit hits; I WAS planning to exchange Rashers, Haller + Alli to DCL, Ings + Mané, but DCL went up in price & now I’m (to say it politely…) shafted!
BUT I have a cunning plan, as Baldrick would say to Blackadder (AND now see this classic reply……”Yes Baldrick, let us not forget that you tried to solve the problem of your mother’s low ceiling by cutting off her head!”) which is to do:
    – Rashford/Alli/Soy-sauce > DCL/Mané/Holgate (or Cathcart or Webster or someone else semi-promising!) thus having a really nice looking team …then getting rid of Haller (experimental at best!) for Ings. Losing a total of -4 points in hits over 2 or 3 weeks!
It all sounds so logical and it means I have the much valued triple Pool for basically the rest of the year! smile It does all depend on there not being too much of a rush on Mané and DCL (and selling of Alli!) twixt now and then!
Hope my plans do not involve the FPL equivalent of Balldrick’s mother’s decapitation!
Bye for now and enjoy your Sunday!
    AJW smile
