Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 25

From one DGW to another, in quick succession, we may have to get used to this.

Leeds book-end this one by kicking off our GW on Friday night away at Wolves @ 8pm.

Southampton are the other team with a double and they begin theirs on Saturday @ 12:30 at home to Chelsea. Jeff then has the excitement of Burnley vs West Brom to report on @3pm before we get to a derby 6-pointer as Everton visit Anfield @ 5.30pm. Fulham and Sheffield United see us out on Saturday @ 8pm, if anybody can be arsed. They won’t be.

The West Ham Cup Final kicks us off on Sunday as Spurs visit the dildo laden lot @ 12pm, Villa welcome Leicester @ 2pm, City will destroy Arsenal @ 4.30pm and Newcastle go to Old Trafford @ 8pm.

Our ‘normal’ GW ends on Monday as Brighton host Palace @ 8pm.

Our extended GW ends on Wednesday as the doublers of Leeds and Saints meet @ 6pm.

The games in full…

Taking a hit is inevitable. What is the best way to bring Kane?

Plenty of options for TC next week. Anyone tempted to TC DCL? Those fixtures!!

Anyone thinking of WC26 and BB27?…..probably FH29.and TC at sometime later (not sure on whom).

I’ve done my bench boost but the rest I’m strongly thinking of doing. But yeah I think it works with a BB

The WC is ancient history for me so no to part one; I’m going to try to manage 29 in the traditional manner (transfers) rather than FH but circumstances or my own planning ineptitude may force me to use it.

      • GoalMachine says:

I was all setup for WC25 and BB26, but in the last minute I messed up and there was not enough time, so I pulled off. Now, I can take -8 and play TC or, just WC for BB27 to get rid of WHU, LEEDS players whom I do not want long term. FH in 29 will work for me. Only BGW33 needs to be handled.

        • Kralin says:

Sounds like you have a plan and I’m sure you’ll be all right. I blanched a bit at that -8 but the humungousness of the DGW will probably paper over a few transgressions like that.

I’m seeing the likes of Raphinha as longish term, potentially, because a) he’s quite handy and b) he’s pretty cheap. This season cheapish midfielders (I’m thinking Soucek and Saka) have helped keep sides well lubricated.

GM, I missed the boat for BB in 26 as most likely will be wildcarding with one in mind to use it for 27.

With 52(-4)=48 this week, i got a red arrow. This DGW looks like a trap, unless SOU-LEEDS end up in a high-scoring game.
