Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 29

Just the four games to trouble yourselves with this week, albeit they are spread over three days.

We begin on Friday with Fulaham welcoming Leeds. A contrast of styles if ever there was one, certainly on the touchline at least. Lady and the Tramp springs to mind. The Jacket vs The Bucket.

Saturday really just belongs to the FA Cup and as such we don’t get an actual FPL game until 8pm when Newcastle go to Brighton.

Sunday sees our final two games with West Ham vs Arsenal at 3pm and then Villa & Spurs finish our very short GW off at 7.30pm.

We then get a couple of weeks off as the International Break kicks in. We shall however no doubt have a few articles along the way to keep you entertained / informed.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 29 from all at FF247!

I’ll end up with 5 playing and 15 points. Lower can’t be possible. Lowest score ever. dash2

Phew, glad I had that spare transfer. At least I’ve got Coufal (0pts) to come on in place of Bale.

I know its internationals now after this weekend, but was considering using my WC in gw30. Do you think i need to use it, or could i wait for GW31.
I also realise that injuries could mean I need to use it now anyway.
Is it a case of waiting and see.

The way I decided was to pick my ideal GW31 team and see which of that and what I had after 29 would be better for GW30. I chose to WC this week.

      • hammerfan_lm says:

Thing is, my team isnt that bad for gw30, and doesnt need a major overhaul, I dont think. gw31, my players have tougher fixtures, so think that is probably where i need to think about swapping around players. Not impressed with Auba, so he is out for sure.

Spurs and Everton hopefully will have their dgw at the same time. Could be worth wait for more news on that.

What I’d like about doing it now plenty of time to make changes

        • Otieno says:

My favourite for both DGW is 37 unless SOT beat LEI in which case TOTvSOT could go to GW33 midweek and TOT don’t get a DGW

Advantage of going this week will mean you can tidy up any international-duty injuries. Plus you have a bit longer to weigh up a couple of potential sides, this player versus that player and so on. But given your troubled history with matters like this, plus your general state of nerves, just ensure you order in a very large stock of Diazepam.

However if you’re trying to kick the pills then stock up heavily on booze instead. Given the surplus of cheap players this season, TV isn’t a massive issue I’d say so you can probably play it by ear.

      • hammerfan_lm says:

very good mate – you know me too well. I will play it by ear – watch the internationals, see if any of my players get injured, and see what happens.

plus i dont drink alcohol – and dont pill pop – but do wanna make the best of my team with what TV i have available.

        • Kralin says:

I have this romantic notion of you sat somewhere in Plaistow, fretting over things as the noise of the never-ending sirens fills the night.

        • hammerfan_lm says:

Kralin, I dont even live in London…lol. Never have.

        • Kralin says:

I was going to say ‘however you’re probably in Saskatchewan’ – but didn’t want to make it seem like I was prying.

        • hammerfan_lm says:

nope, not even there!!! I am a UK lad, born and bred.

Just an anxious person who wants to make the right transfers as I want to do well in my ML and beat the twats who boast and look smug about finish above me!!

        • Kralin says:

I realised this season that some of my work mates had started another league and not invited me into it. I didn’t quite see the logic as I’d’ve thought the kudos of ending my reign of terror would be far more satisfying than winning a league I wasn’t in. And last year was a damn close run thing in the end.

          I’m sure you’ll be fine.

        • hammerfan_lm says:

          I hope so Kralin.
I know that with the help of the FF247 community I will do my very best.

Your team looks more than good enough for GW30. So why do it then?

    Otieno says:

From the FA results and draw I think it most likely that :
AVLvMCI, CHEvBHA, LEI vWBA, SOTvCPL will move to GW32 midweek and keep that as a SGW for everyone.
There is a chance that SOTvCPL would be postponed and TOTvSOT be played here but I think that less likely now that TOT are out of EL.
Then I think PL will wait until semis have been played hoping SOT lose to LEI and both TOTvSOT and AVLvEVE can go to midweek 37.
If SOT make the final then midweek 33 is my favourite for the rearrangement which means TOT would not have a blank nor double.
There are a few other options and we still have the remote possibility of the “spectator” move of WK36 lurking.

Cash return has strengthened AVL surely…..this match is so boring after the WHU-ARS match.

If you do not have WC, will you stick to Martinez till end of the season?
