It’s been a long and difficult season, for a number of (bleedingly obvious) reasons.
From an editorial POV it’s been an absolute nightmare. We usually post about 5 or 6 articles a week but given the ‘new’ TV schedules the GW’s have been running into each other with alarming regularity. The fixture schedule itself has been altered so many times it almost became a joke to even attempt to follow it.
As such we have done the best we could. Which is to react to every GW announcement and post an article or two accordingly.
From a personal POV I still felt like we were letting people down (and I hate that), by not providing a regularly consistent flow of articles.
On reflection, we simply did what we could.
Regardless, any time I looked at the comments it was nothing but consistent and supportive.
Which leads me back to the title; THANK YOU.
Brilliant community, brilliant ‘family’.

My thanks to the writing team, and all of the participants, for the continuing flow of ideas and inspiration. And, most of all, the unfailing good humour. It’s been a strange covid season, but FF247 has made it all bearable.
Thank you all for a strange but super season of FPL. Hats off to all the writers, all the members who advise and all the behind the scenes folks that keep this site up and running. Time for a break and I’ll see you all in July/August for another round.
A week ago Init and I were discussing the state of the few fantasy football sites which are still existing around. We’ve come to the conclusion that FF24/7 is the most consistent. I personally have been monitoring a few and because of the covid chaos and the crazy schedules some crashed under the pressure and skipped gameweeks or even some ceased all together. The combination of great writers and regular members on here made it strong and helped to survive what was a weird season.
Well done to all and let’s look forward to even a better season
Just makes me laugh when some of them start up and think it’ll be a doddle and then they realise that it really isn’t at all.
It can be mentally exhausting at times and I’m usually spent by GW38. In fact most weeks I’m done in by Friday with all the arranging, writing and editing. GP has helped massively this season by taking the burden of the Site Team writing as that’s usually the straw which breaks the camels back with me!
On which note I’m concsious that I haven’t done that Euros article yet but I just wanted a few days break, it’ll be up later this week.
No rush Init, plenty of time for that.
Just a general one like with UCL and Bundesliga, in which we can exchange ideas. Doubt anyone can go into details for 24 nations. We’ll go with the ones we know and take from there.
