Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 38

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Gameweek 38. That’s your lot folks! Well, it will be in about 3 hours anyway… GW38 always seems so brutal. We are used to game-weeks spanning 3-4 days, sometimes even 6 or 7. And then when it really comes down to the final reckoning we are all lined up in front of the FPL firing squad and shot at for 90 short minutes as if we’d just been caught in Malaysia with a gram or two in our back pockets. And it’s a bit of an odd one to call as nearly all matters are sorted, barring a couple of highly unlikely goal difference swings. And we are talking huge ones here – a Liverpool draw and a Chelsea 16-0 win. And a Saints loss, a Swansea win and a 10 goal swing. The Saints do however face Man City so you just never know! But being realistic it’s all done and dusted. The main talking points will probably centre around rotation and regardless of what nonsense the managers trotted out in their press conferences about ‘playing until the end with professionalism’ there will be rotation aplenty. There’s usually a fair few goals on the last day too. Here’s hoping your amongst them.

Many thanks to all those who take the time to stop by and comment on Live Match Chat each week, it’s the fun end of the FPL week, indeed it’s the action end of it. We appreciate every single comment :worthy:

Hey guys. I finished with 70 points this week, when Alli came on he cost me 10 more points, with Lejeune on my bench. Anyway I finished top of my ml for the second year running so I’m over the moon. I’d like to thank everyone on here for the brilliant help and advice over the season. This wouldn’t have been possible without you guys. A big thanks to everyone. Roll on next season.

Considering my shocking season I have managed to win retain my main ML by 1 point – finished on 85k which is my lowest rank since I started playing the game! Defo learnt a few more lessons this season and I can’t wait til the season starts in August!

Thank you all for your comments and help along the season and thank you to FF247 and the great people who run the site and take time to produce these wonderful articles which we all rely on or the amount of RMTs we do (some more than others 😉 )

    Have a good summer…..

    The ranks have been updated.
Bit of a disappointing end of the season for me with 60 today.
Dropped down to 224 OR but I would have been more than delighted to take that at the beginning of the season smile

I know it’s a bit of a cliche post right now, but I just wanted to take a second to express my genuine gratitude to all the site contributors, writers and regular posters for everything you do. I sometimes think I’m addicted to this game, but the dedication you all show takes it to another level. Thanks for consistently getting out useful and amusing content – and always being there for the 1000’s of RMTs and annoying questions I put on here throughout the season. I ended up smashing all my core MLs – and finishing with a rank of 5k. This is my second best finish ever, and simply wouldn’t have happened without all your help. Hope you’ve all enjoyed the season and hit whatever goals you set out to.
