Fantasy Premier League £1k Regulars League 2020/21
Hello everyone and welcome back to the FF247 Regulars League(s).
We have exciting news about the FF247 Regulars League. Over the years we have gradually increased the prize pool, bit by bit. This year we are DOUBLING it! It’s mainly as a ‘thank you’ to our members but also partly thanks to FanTeam who are sponsoring it. So this season’s prize pool goes up from £500 to £1k. And we are not only increasing all of the prizes for each placing we are extending the winners to 10 spots. And introducing a prize for our Regulars Cup too.
This main purpose of this article is so that the Regulars League has a permanent home for reference points throughout the season, such as cup draws. It is also linked to our Hot Topics just above latest comments.
FF247 Public League

As per usual we will have the FF247 Public League, that anyone can join. This one has a prize pool of £300 and is also sponsored by Fanteam. The outright winner will take the lot. It is however widely available, hence the name, it will be Tweeted and posted on Facebook, and poplulated by thousands as a result. Many of whom are unrecognisable faces.

Hence why we created the Regulars League. This one is for people who are part of our community on a regular basis, hence the name… On top of this there are H2H Leagues and also a Regulars Cup.
The main ‘Regs League’ attracts a prize pool of £950, again sponsored by FanTeam. This prize is bigger than the Public one as we prefer to reward our loyal community with a larger share of the spoils. In fact the winner themselves will get £300, 2nd £175, 3rd £125 and even 4th is still a ton up.

To be eligible for this one you need to be a registered member of the site (have a username), and post in the comments at least 4 times a month for over 6 months of the season (and no, saying ‘Hi’ 24 times doesn’t count!). Rest assured this is monitored and if anyone finishes in the prize spots and doesn’t fit the above criteria they will be getting nowt.
The leagues are free to join but you do need to e-mail Elle at the address below to receive the codes. Please leave these details for him when you do:
1- Your site name.
2- Your real name.
3- Your FPL team name from season 2019/20 and your new team name for 2020/21 if you intend to /have change(d) it.
Please email him as soon as you can because the H2H leagues deadline is midnight on 31/8/2020 as he needs to sort the leagues before the start of the season. The Classic Regulars League will stay open a tad longer.

All we ask if you enter the leagues is that you please keep the codes to yourself and don’t divulge them to family or friends who do not frequent the site. These are for the FF247 Community and we would like to keep it that way.

For the first time our popular cup competition will also attract a prize. The winner will get £50.

No prize for Bundesliga? In FPL, by my standard I do not stand a chance.
We tried to give away a prize last season and no one would take it so we gave up. That league is free! :laugh2:

Unconfirmed, but the latest I read was next seasons fixtures will be announced on the 21st August. We may have a while to wait.

You are forgetting we are due weeks of exciting reveals of new player prices one by one, until we reach the Leeds 4th choice goalkeeper and we can’t take anymore. Then the game will come out. That and we don’t even know who will be the last promoted team yet.
That only lasted two days last year
Interesting that teams still involved in Europe will ideally get a 30 day break. If any of them go far they could conceivably have a blank GW1, possibly GW2, and double later, may be, it’s only conjecture.
That be fun if they start out that way. It would certainly lead to a bunch of different strategies if teams have a blank or two to begin with.
Yes would be interesting, but may mean teams are more similar. There are potentially some difficult choices. KDB, Fernandes, Salah and TAA may set you back something like 42m. I was considering going without Salah/Mane and rotating captains between the Manchester teams. However if some key players aren’t playing the budget comes much easier.
Yeah I think prices could be interesting as well as more premium options are appearing. Sancho will be at United and they can’t price them all really high
Unfortunately if he does go to United it means we probably won’t have Greenwood as a cheaper playing option.
Smash – I reckon they will price them all really high. I.e. like City players. You’ll just have to chance one or two of them.
Yeah I get there will be the standard price increases just everyone won’t be 11-13 million that’s premium. Some might get slightly reduced too
This looks like a nice initiative and i appreciate it. I have sent in my name for Regulars League, not sure if Ill be able to fulfill that monthly requirement though. Some months I am invisible, and some months I am all over the place.
B, you are on here often enough.
It will be good if there is a competitive price points where we have to make a choice. I guess FPL always design the price in that way. But at the same time they keep some cheap ones too.
I assume Martial and Antonio will be FWD as the PL site also indicate the same. Rashford might become Mid.
Lord will definitely be Mid and none will pick him.
Sterling, KDB will be pricey like Salah/Mane. Mahrez is the key and will assumed to be in same bracket as Son.
Pope 5.5 + TAA 7.5 + Robo 7.5 + Salah 12.5 + KDB 11 = expected 44m gone in 5 template players.
I think Robbo will be 0.5 less with KDB a bit more. Salah could even be 12 but yeah around that. I’d love them to price Pope at 6 I’m sick of the sight of him in every team
I’m actually excited to see Martial as a forward, the amount of times he killed me last season by not having him and my midfield 5 was full.haha but yes finding the bargain/differential players will be key this year i think with the likes of template players taking up so much of the funds, but agree with Smash, will be nice for teams to be priced out so different keepers are used when, when your versing someone and it literally comes down to 2 players due to having the near same team makes some of the games a little less exciting to watch i find
