Hi Guys and Girls,well after working late into the night here is the article you have all been waiting for and boy it took some work due to the groups in The Perfect 32 and The Dodgy 32 frequently getting updated which ended around 4am.
So below is the following, the Last 16 draw for both competitions, next to your fixture in brackets is your Unique Code for both competing managers to use and create one’s Last 16 tie, use the code in the Join League box.
Lets get cracking on this World Cup day off.
All 32 Managers please make a note of your Final Points score from the Group Phase and do not lose it, I have done this also.
Your Matches will run for the duration of the Last 16 Phase as on the McDonalds game and the manager with the most points goes through.
In the event of a tie, then the team with the most goalscorer’s will be declared the winner.

Agreed. I’d like to see Holland go through.
In Holland they are very critical and negative about this team. I think van Gaal is doing the only thing he can do to win with this team. That’s counter football (not a Dutch style at all). Chili never had anything to say in the match and I consider them to be the strongest country we faced. Shocked by how poor our passing is though. Van Gaal is known for his risks and attractive football, remember Bayern and Barca. However, I am really curious what he’s going to do in England. 4-3-3 seems to be a system of the past.
Aaah yes, van Gaal is really hated by the media in Holland. That’s gonna be so much worse in England, lol. I will now apologize in advance. 😉
Ps. the more negative they are about van Gaal the more I tend to side with him (even though he is a crazy bastard :P)

Is it possible to see the players points in McD? I know we can see their overall score, but I mean balls recovered, blocked shots, goals, assists – these kind of things.

I see some questions have risen since this Article went up so here are the answers.
1=In all the Last 16 h2h matches you will see my team PelePotty, please ignore this team as its in the h2h only for Admin purposes so all the h2h matches could be created.
2=If you are in the Last 16 in either Competition you cannot enter The Nearly Boys League, if one does you will be deleted.
3=Points totals in the h2h Matches and The Nearly Boys League will work as follows.
4=Note your Group Phase final points total.
5=Let’s say it was 250pts,when the Last 16 ends let’s say your total is then 500pts,this means your h2h Match total against your opponent is 250pts, Simple ain’t it.

If you’re happy with your team then it doesn’t matter how long it takes. I spent most of that time mulling over strike forces. Once they were sorted then the rest fell into place. 6 hours isn’t even that much compared to the month we spend breaking our hearts and eating nurofen like smarties when deciding our FPL squads!! Only to wildcard the shit out of it a week later hahahaha.
LOL. I still remember how I quickly wildcarded last season after first 2 GWs as it was all falling apart.

I’m trying to keep Neymar, Benzema *and* Messi, as well as make room for Mueller. Glad the Algerians and Greeks qualified!!
Exactly how essential you think Oscar is?
Thinking of booting him in favour of Shaqiri, but he faces Argentina. Could be tough for him, and also costs 7M, which is only 1M less than Oscar.
For me, not essential at all. Luis Gustavo scored the same points more or less and is 1.5m cheaper. I like Shaqiri but think there are better options, e.g. among the Germans/French, Di Maria, JRod, even Vidal.

A few questions then, if anyone’s about: De Jong vs Lahm? And do we think Valbuena will be back in the French XI? And how about Belgium’s defence? The match with the USA, based on each team’s form so far, could well be a 0-0 draw…
De Jong/Lahm – Both iffy but i’d choose Lahm.
