FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW16
Welcome to the FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW16. Following consecutive red arrows in GWs 13 & 14 we managed to claw our way back up the ranks with a final score of 68 in GW15. This comfortably beat the average of 45 and saw us climb back up to 36,483, our best rank of the season so far.
With our defence and keeper returning just 3pts between them we were largely indebted to Captain Kane and Private Fraser who contributed 12pts each (doubled for Kane) with Richarlison not far behind with 10pts. Further solid performances from Jimenez, Sane and a late Salah assist managed to largely negate Arnie’s 0pts!

Happy with our progress we march on confidently into GW16, but now in search of an Arnie replacement, and with our wildcard still to be used. Could this finally be the week….
This weeks transfer decision(s)

The wildcard lives on, burning a hole in our pockets while at the same time we have taken a hit to remove Salah! There’s logic there somewhere.
Arnie’s (latest) injury and free scoring Arsenal’s fixtures were the caveat for such an extraordinary course of action. Sterling coming in is hardly a bad option, especially as he had a good rest in midweek. Arsenal’s current run of form along with their imminent fixture schedule focuses the mind on them really and hence we made one of their forwards a priority to replace Arnie. We could have simply taken Wilson in but his fixtures turn south whilst Salah’s form is not explosive enough to justify either his price tag or his place instead of Sterling in our team any longer. And so it’s another week and another City mid added, feels like we shall keep on doing this until we have them all!
In truth we would probably have preferred Aubayemang to Lacazette but funds dictated otherwise and with Lacazette likely to return the starting line-up we’re comfortable with the Frenchman. (That could come back to bite us, as could Salah of course c’est la vie).
And so to confirm we have… SOLD SALAH & ARNIE AND BOUGHT STERLING & LACAZETTE

Straight in the team and awarded the armband. Giving a Frenchman this sort of responsibility may be considered reckless, nay insane. But with the Gooners at home to Huddersfield, what could possibly go wrong? Just in case Monsieur Lacazette runs away never to be seen again, Kane is our vice.

Now doubting Sane because he has racked up a lot of minutes recently and Mahrez is often preferred against the top 6 sides. I have Sterling already, but definitely want two City attackers. Would Dilva be a better option, or just ride out Sane’s potentially missed match?
What’s the consensus on Martial? Not going to start? My concern would be that it is ‘only Fulham’. Would be stupid to risk aggravating his ‘pre-injury’!
Yeah I like Sane as an option I just think it will be Mahrez and Sterling this week. Though would not be surprised to see Pep go without a striker and it being Jesus on the bench either. Can’t see Martial being risked maybe bench. Why risk a muscle injury with all those December fixtures
Think that’s why I’ve not activated mine don’t know what big players I want Auba, Salah, Kane, Hazard, Sterling, Sane, Alonso, Aguero, Laca. Lots of options and you can’t have many
Agreed on Martial, probably will not be risked, I think Sane will be benched too against Chelsea but look at it in long-term, Sane will start a lot because of the Mendy injury, the logic is still there! Or go with someone else for this weekend and then switch to Sane, but then again if Sane starts… 😆
But it’s CL next week, could be more injuries so I’d really not wanna plan a transfer of someone to Sane next week, perhaps just go with Sane and be done and dusted!
Hi AT – in regards to city what about silva and sterling? im sure you can use that dosh to improve the defence.
If id have to predict mou, i believe he will be benched. they have a CL this midweek and chasing 1st spot so hed use him in that game to try and win it.
AT, your WC isn’t just for this GW! If you reckon Sané outscores Silva over the next 5/6 games pick Sané.

Yes i’ve hopped between them 2,Bellerin looks good in your team but then you look at how many clean sheets Arsenal have kept ! As for Laporte i dont like the fact City have got 4 fit centrebacks all jostling for a start though he is the best out of the 4.

With all the uncertainty around Martial I think Lingard is the best bet. He is back to full fitness and scored last Wednesday. He was great in the second part of the last season even as a supersub and Jose needs him to help the United revival.
0.9 cheaper as well 😉
