….the home crowd sang as we suffered another red arrow dropping from 106,713 to 120,867 after scoring 58pts in GW26. At least we beat the average… by 2pts. In fairness to the crowd they are probably frustrated that we sold the goal-scoring Lundstram for Stephens. The dreaded vote of confidence was delivered from the board this week – never a good sign. We were again indebted to our Liverpool defenders, Grealish and Ings to steady the ship while KDB weighed in with 14pts late on. Capo Salah failed, while Vardy and Maddison look horribly out of form but have excellent fixtures on the horizon. Tough decisions will need to be made. Let’s see what the committee decided for this week…

…well frankly they bottled it and saved the free transfer, most likely scared of selling someone who is bound to deliver a brace at the weekend! In all fairness the team looks ok for this weekend (famous last words) so the logic is understandable, although the loyalty to the Leicester boys may prove ill-founded. Two free transfers ahead of BGW28 should also be an advantage.
To confirm then we have HELD our transfer.

Mo Salah wears the armband again with the hope that he will destroy West Ham. Just liked we hoped he’d destroy Norwich last week. TAA is the vice-captain.

Moving Vardy on, but for who? looks like I missed the DCL good fixture run. If you have him are you keeping him? Already have Jiménez and Ings.

Yeah prob should have sold him previously but now he has the fixtures coming and must be close to being fully fit again
Hi gang. Ok I’ve not made any moves yet and the initial plan was to sort Kelly, but then Son got injured.
Im thinking Son to either Martial, Richarlison or Traore. I’d also like Jiminez and sorted about Vardy’s form. Any ideas ?? Thanks as always.

Just Son to whichever one you fancy of those 3, probably Traoré. Bit of an odd choice as two of them are OOP but Wolves have the best fixtures.

Hi guys 2 FT £0.6 in the bank. I have some big decisions to make. Should I Upgrade DCL to Jiménez and replace Son to 8.7 midfielder (Richarlison, Martial, Bruno) but which one? Then next week sort out Kelly
I’m keeping DCL myself but they sound like sensible moves. See answer above about the kids.
Innit it’s a tough choice selling DCL especially now that he is in form but I really want Jiménez and holding Vardy. We should have 4 forward slots in FPL! 😉

Lundstram over Holgate ?
How nailed on is Holgate? Assuming both Lund and Holgate aren’t guaranteed, I’d take Lund vs BHA over Holgate vs Arsenal.
I fully expect Holgate to be back in the starting XI this weekend.

Potential to bring in I’m thinking Fernandez or Martial, Mané or another Liverpool defender. Ings and Jimenez options in attack?
Patrick Van Arnolt is also an option I like in defence..
