Welcome to FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW27.

“Sacked in the morning, you’re getting sacked in the morning”

….the home crowd sang as we suffered another red arrow dropping from 106,713 to 120,867 after scoring 58pts in GW26. At least we beat the average… by 2pts. In fairness to the crowd they are probably frustrated that we sold the goal-scoring Lundstram for Stephens. The dreaded vote of confidence was delivered from the board this week – never a good sign. We were again indebted to our Liverpool defenders, Grealish and Ings to steady the ship while KDB weighed in with 14pts late on. Capo Salah failed, while Vardy and Maddison look horribly out of form but have excellent fixtures on the horizon. Tough decisions will need to be made. Let’s see what the committee decided for this week…

Our GW26 Result…

Our GW27 Transfer(s)
…well frankly they bottled it and saved the free transfer, most likely scared of selling someone who is bound to deliver a brace at the weekend! In all fairness the team looks ok for this weekend (famous last words) so the logic is understandable, although the loyalty to the Leicester boys may prove ill-founded. Two free transfers ahead of BGW28 should also be an advantage.

To confirm then we have HELD our transfer.

Captain – Mo Salah
Mo Salah wears the armband again with the hope that he will destroy West Ham. Just liked we hoped he’d destroy Norwich last week. TAA is the vice-captain.

Last thought on my wc. Final spot currently being occupied by John Egan but I have 5.5m for that position. Is it worth spending the extra on baldock of Stevens? Or perhaps anyone else? Although I think I should probably go with one shu defender though

    Morning all,
Hope everyone is set for this GW.
I need some advice on my B team (doing better than my A team!).
    I have 2 FT and 0.2 ITB.
My issue is I have 2 non-playing GK (Martin & McGovern). I want to get pop back but would need to use both transfers to get the cash. Don’t want to lose the transfer either – so could do something different and address my keeper issue later.
But I’m stuck on knowing what to do.
Toying with Calvert-Lewin but already got Rich.
Kelly’s also been hanging around far too long!
    Any help gratefully received.

I don’t know how much money you need but you could do Dunk to Williams and get Pope back if the cash is enough.
If you are willing to play without a GK you can just move Kelly and roll the other FT.

Thanks Tornado! Removing Dunk leaves me with 4.3 for a defender after getting Pope back. Would Williams still be the best option or go Rico, Lascelles etc?

Williams plays for MU therefore maybe a slightly better chance of CS, as they’ve tightened up things at the back lately. He also brings attacking threat. However, I don’t know how nailed he is when Ole doesn’t play with 5 at the back.
If you are looking for a safe pick I’d go Lascelles or Adam Smith (Taylor of Burnley is a good pick in this price bracket but IDK if doubling up on Burnley defense is something you want to do – that’s up to you).
That, of course, is just my humble opinion. Hope it helpssmile

I’m wary about giving the VC to the same team as the cappo. I did it myself in SGW26 and the storms caused me stress. If I was in the site teams position I would VC Jiminez

    Hi all,

I have not been on it at all this season, I completely missed the fact that there is a BGW coming up. Made my FT Kelly to Williams, should I take a 4 point hit?

    Pope Ryan
    TTA Soyuncu Baldock Rico Williams
    KDB Maddison Grealish Doucoure Salah
    Auba Firmino
