FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW38
Welcome to the FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW38. DGW37 was ok, certainly not spectacular. We played our TC on Kane and we all know how that went. OK. We scored 81 in total, net 72, the average was 67 and we saw a red arrow which was a shame. We now stand at 88,040 – our decent run looks over as we head into GW38. Frankly, the end of the season cannot come quick enough for our tired looking team. There were a few other ‘ok’s’ in our side – clean sheets from DDG, Dunk and Chambers, a rare goal from Mahrez and a solitary assist from Son. Definitely not ‘ok’ were Morgan, Sterling, Kenedy, Gündogan and Jesus.
It wasn’t the week we hoped for, maybe we were spoiled by last season’s mammoth DGW scores. Let’s move on, this is depressing me just writing this…..

This Weeks Transfers – we have sold Mahrez & Kenedy and bought Salah and Milivojevic
We’ve done the unthinkable – we’ve only gone and taken a hit for the last game-week of the season. With Kenedy unavailable to play vs parent club Chelsea and Murray and Brighton not renowned for their scoring on the road we decided to not only get Salah back but also draft in Palace’s Milivojevic. Obviously it would help if Mili stopped given Benteke penalty duties! Salah’s return was inevitable and we had planned for it – with the Egyptian look to break a record or two at home to Brighton we trust that the hit is worth it. Hmmm!!

Captain – Salah
Salah was the unanimous choice as Captain for this week. Having gone two matches without a goal, the league’s top scorer will be depserate to sign off his great season in style in front of the home faithful. With Brighton safe, we feel it’s only right that Duffy and Dunk roll over and allow Salah to do his thing one more time.
If for some reason Salah doesn’t appear, then Kane is our vice captain.

I can’t make my mind up with this one.
Vardy to Fermino for a -4 hit. It would seem like a good move because you would think Fermino is good for a goal or more to justify the hit. Thanks Cookie for your tip on not doing this move but I cant stop thinking about it haha. Anyone else?
I wouldnt be doing it Star because he has to score 2 for it to he worthwhile. You’ve got to go with your gut though otherwise you’ll regret it.
Think sorting your keeper out should be your priority Starfox !
Hi all. Firstly thank you all for the brilliant articles over the season and assistance. Secondly I need to call on you all again!! Have one ft and 1.6 itb. Was thinking Eriksen to Salah but also worried about Son starting. Then also thinking Jesus to Auba somehow…thoughts welcome people.

Getting Salah back in should be your priority Neilos.As a defensive move as much as anything !

Bad season for me overall but I am 4points behind this guy to get 2nd place in ml. He has done Hazard to Salah and I have no ft and nothing in bank. Did Mahrez out and got Sane in. I think he has the upper hand! Any ideas?

Is that your team or his Matt ? I would have made getting Salah back a priority !
I still can’t decide what to do here. Trailing leader by 6 points don’t think he will take a hit but has Willian and Lingard. We have very similar teams. Torn between
A) Milovejevic in for Lingard
B) Gut is telling me Rashford and Arnie in for Vardy and Lingard
Got a few options there smash.
Smalling to Liverpool defender.
Vardy to giroud/ rashford
I am undecided myself
Smash, Smalling to Robertson is my recommendation my friend.
Very tough decision I think.
Would be inclined to just do the Lingard -> Mili move and keep the deficit at 6 rather than 10, purely because Uniteds attack doesnt fill me with confidence.
In the 2nd one, would you not rather Zaha over Arnie?
Really not a Zaha fan which might be my opinion clouding sensible judgement. Arnie always looks like scoring.
Smalling to Robertson is probably sensible. Problem is I think I need to go for it a bit more to win that’s why leaning towards Arnie and Rashford
Smash are you putting the armband on Kane because you think he’ll outscore Salah or as a differential to your ML leader as he’ll probably pick Salah? I only ask because I’m in a similar situation.
A bit of both. I have no idea who my rival will captain to be honest it’s often a bit random. Salah is going to be more popular. Leicester have been shocking recently
19 point lead over 2nd, 20 point lead over 3rd who has TC to play. 2nd has Salah and Arnie who could score big this week. Third has Salah and Auba, both TC candidates. WIthout transfers, I cover 6 players from each of them.
a) Lingard -> Milivojevic which covers an additional player from 3rd.
b) Morgan -> Robertson and play 4 at the back
c) Silva + Lingard -> McArthur and Salah (c) for a -4, covering an additional player (plus captain) on both at the expense of 4 points.
Have never agonised over a move this much before.
I’d go C
Yeah think it’s the most sensible. Assume both will captain Salah (one TC) so will have to follow suit.
Unless the bit players get in the points, it effectively comes down to
– Son, Vardy + 15 vs Silva + Arnie with 2nd and
– Kane + 16 vs Salah + Auba with 3rd, which could be tight
Still really want to captain Kane as i’m at the game today…

I don’t understand why he would fly back if he’s not playing, but I don’t understand why Pep would pick him if he hasn’t trained since last weekend.
Who knows??
Silva has played before this season without training. I think he starts as he’s come back
