Don’t panic…
When McGinn is your joint top scorer on 8 points and he isn’t even your captain you could be forgiven for panicking. But, alas, it’s all relative, and most people were in the same boat this week.
Our new signigns Mings and Abraham proved to be unispired choices as they combined for a grand total of 3 points. Elsewhere we had Sterling on 7, Mount, Pieters and Soyuncu all with 6, Salah on 3, Pukki on 2 and Pope on 1. Our captain (Aguero) didn’t even start the game, although he did come on and notch a belated assist.
All that left us on 50 points, 1 below the average, and an inevitable red arrow, our first of the season. It knocked us back about 20k in the ranks and we are now at 61,495th. It happens… don’t panic.

Our GW8 Transfer(s)
Boringly but probably very sensibly we have unanimously decided to hold our transfer this week. As you can see our team looks decently set up for GW8 and having 2 free transfers for after the international break may turn out to be very useful.
To confirm then we have held our free transfer
Captain – Raheem Sterling
With Sterling getting a partial rest in midweek we expect/hope (delete as appropriate) Pep to play him on Sunday, while we do not have the same level of confidence that Aguero will be as lucky! But we live in hope!
With Wolves having faced a long and tricky Thursday evening in Turkey, albeit a winning one, we would expect City to come out flying with or without KDB.
Salah is our vice captain, just in case we get Pepped!

Looks pretty good CC – you always seem to have things under control. I dunno what I’d do – maybe chuck out Ceballos for Yarma (WH) or your old mate Hudson-Odoi? Isn’t he back on track at ‘The Bridge’? That way you keep De Bruyne in your team for ‘Ron’ (later ‘ron’!). You captaining Sterlo ou Pukki (re: Cookster’s tips

No worries CC. Just my humble opinion and it’ll make you feel alright to finally have 3 of the lads in your team (like when Azpi, Alonso & Hazard were ruling the roost!) I guess! My son (the PSG fan) is always telling me to put CHO in my team – even.before he was playing again! So he must be pretty good! See you and all the good folk of FF247 around! :)!

McGinn for Ceballos perhaps? Ceballos played almost the entire game last night and tends to play much deeper in the PL. Either that or roll the transfer, its a good solid team.
Have a bad feeling about this week already haha. So many weak links.

If not, James->Yamolenko?
Not much cash to play with unfortunately so Greenwood has to stay where he is for now. I am looking at James > Yarmolenko or McGinn. McGinn gives me a little extra cash. My problem is too many big hitters soaking up funds and not then being able to disperse those funds to create a better balanced team.
Quick question: Who would you prefer going forwards
A: Pukki and Maddison or
B: Vardy and Cantwell.
That is a tough one, it’s so close… I think maybe Vardy and Cantwell by the smallest of margins… Only because I think Vardy is a GO for these great Lei fixtures!!
B since Cantwell looks more likely to score than Maddison
Should I sell Aguero for Aubameyang? If I keep Aguero, should I captain him or Salah, Son, Pukki?
As Hamlet said ‘…that is the question!’ Out of Kun and Pukkers I think – but then again, I’ve been pretty wrong this year!
Personnaly I’ll keep Aguero. City is scoring so much that I think he’ll deliver even if he shares his time with Jesus.
But preferring Auba would make sense. He consistantly scores even in a chaotic team!
And from the list you give I’d capitain Son.Totenham is due to react, and Bournemouth leaks goals!
Son is an intriguing option.
