FF247 FPL Pre-Season Hub 2023-24

Welcome to FF247 FPL Pre-Season Hub 2023-24

Now that we are at the end of June (I know, right?), we will have to turn our attention to what our Premier League clubs have up their sleeves in terms of pre-season preparations for the forthcoming 2023-24 Premier League season.

Most clubs return for initial health checks with training following around the 5th – 8th of July mark with additional time off given for those playing late into the final international break and even longer for those at the UEFA Under-21 tournament.

Pre-season friendlies themselves, begin around the 10th – 12th July.

We have listed below a run-down of the fixtures arranged at the time of publication which will be updated with additional fixtures when announced.

As in previous seasons, each team will have a comment attached to this article where match information will be posted to act as a living record of how their pre-season is progressing. This will contain score, scoring, assist and team line-up information and indeed, any other salient information deemed FPL-appropriate to assist us ahead of the new season.

Any questions or comments welcome.

Hi guys! Good to be back… hope you’re all well!
    Would you rather have …..
    A- Enciso & Darwin/Nkunku
    B- Mitoma & Alvarez
Enciso obviously more risky than Mitoma
Alvarez finished last season pretty strongly ending with 3pts more than Darwin while playing 200 minutes less. Darwin competing for mins with Salah/Gakpo/Jota/Diaz, Alvarez competing with Haaland/Grealish/Foden/Mahrez but plays anywhere across front line and covers for inevitable Pep roulette ….but doesn’t have any other options to switch to at that price point, while Darwin can switch to Nkunku/Gakpo/Mitro/Isaac etc based on form/fixtures!?

      Loud Atlas says:

A for me. Enciso’s very exciting and will be surely get more gametime this time around. Nkunku could do well too.

      • RedKev says:

Cheers Atlas, yeah I’m leaning that way, more options at those price points too!
If you had Enciso which 1!of these would you drop from your team…
        Mitoma/Mbuemo/Eze?
Hope your teams coming along well

        • Loud Atlas says:

Eze I think, as Brighton and Brentford will probably do better initially than Palace.

It’s all a little early to do a proper draft for me – I’ve logged on and auto-filled at least. Once the preseason games have been played and majority of the transfers have been done we’ll get more of a clue as to what’s going on smile .

Hey guys – nothing doing here, so I thought I’d put out my first (second in fact!) draft!
Not a rate-my-team, but it’s amazing how many former guns you can fit in this year (especially if you leave out Salah and Kane!).
Feels like Christmas Day – before you open your presents!!!!

    Cheers! AJW
