Welcome to FF247 Site Team GW36
Sometimes it just becomes about setting your own little goals at this stage of the season. We certainly won’t be breaking any records anyway, but three green arrows in a row has seen us ‘soar’ from 2.2m to 953k. May not seem significant but it puts us on course to beat our worst ever ranking, which was last season at a smidgen over a mil. It’s way off our usual sort of performance but small victories and all that.

Yep, after all of those very good ranks all we aim for this season now is some semblance of respectability.
We finished GW35 on 60, 10 above the average. Thanks largely in part to our Bournemouth defensive hangover from the DGW as the pair pulled in 24, which was more than the rest of the team (22) sans Haaland (14, C) combined.

It is of course a DGW for Man City and Palace and so with that in mind and 3 City players already in situ our first thought was whether we had the correct ones. No, evidently. With Semenyo off the boil a bit (cue 4 goals and 2 assists…) and Cherki looking very much on it we have decided to switch those two over.
With Palace rotating all over the shop and having just played on Thursday we have decided to ignore them for this one.
With another 2 FT’s to burn we then decided to jump on the Arsenal train once more. City need to win, but arguably Arsenal do more. So let’s ride that. Saka is slowly returning to form at exactly the right time, and to not then also grab the opportunity to get a defender from there too (one called Gabriel, to be specific) would feel like a dereliction of duty.
Chelsea and Palmer can do one as they’ve long since departed to the beach.
To confirm then we have SOLD Sensei, Palmer and Semenyo and BOUGHT Gabriel, Cherki and Saka

Oooh, and we had the TC chip. No prizes for guessing where that’s going then….

Cherki is better as he is on free kicks and also has a better defcon but Doku is the more attacking and more likely to score, that is if he does score.

So guys – have FT on Gyok + Saka. D’ya think it’s worth trading out Semenyo to CHerki for a minus 4? Was progressing from 1m to 400k spots a few weeks ago, but recently have dived down to 700k mark and seem to be stuck there! So I guess it doesn’t really matter. Highly-owned Semenyo is a ‘shield player’, especially if he bangs, but it’s so tempting to get on the Cherki Train (shoulda done it weeks ago!).

The thing is Cherki has got to score to get your minus points back, this is how I look at it, Semenyo’s form has dropped off but Cherki isn’t on fire either.

Difficult question – I reckon keep Virgil in your run-on squad, so maybe bench JP? I’ve traded him out this week, and have promoted VVD to the team from his bench spot!
