Welcome to FF247 Site Team GW7

We felt like we were half way there to a decent enough score in GW6 with a star performance from our keeper, decent hauls from our Arsenal backline, including a goal, a GroB assist and then goals from Rogers, Haaland and Jaoa Pedro at the double. But despite all that we still only came in at 67 points and only 9 above the average. And that meant a small-ish red arrow and a 50k odd drop down to 743k.

Our Gameweek 6 Result

GW6

We have 0.3m in the bank and 3 free transfers to use ahead of GW7. Let’s go see what was decided….

Our GW7 Transfer(s)

We could easily have pressed save on this as the team looked OK, but we were in a bullish mood and so have decided to be pro-active. With Man Utd floundering a touch and Liverpool not looking much better we have decided to call time on both Bruno and Szoboszlai. Saka, Cherki, Mbeumo (sideways move?) and Palmer were all mooted. With only Haaland in-situ from an attacking perspective from either of the ‘top 2’ teams we have gone route one with Saka and Cherki.

To confirm then we have SOLD Bruno and Szoboszlai and BOUGHT Saka and Cherki

Captain – Haaland
No real surprises here……

PREDICTED LINE-UPS

Back by popular demand! Well, sort of… Drafthound have changed their line-up approach this season and what it means for us is that we are no longer able to display a live feed of it on here due to some technical difficulties. That said, what they have done looks great and is still only a click away so if you want to access those they are HERE

  1. I have one question this week.

Some reason after my WC, i’ve ended up with Raya and Kinsky as my two keepers.

Who should i play this week?

Kinsky vs COV at home or Raya vs NFO away?

    • I’d go for Raya mate. The Arse are more reliable than the old ‘Hot (and cold)spurs’!

Hopes all’s well in the southern beaches area mate!

      See you round. smile

  2. Oh, and by the way, I’m planning to (maybe) BB this week. I do however, need to replace Maguire – who was due to go weeks ago to De Cuyper, but who is now unattainable (I have 0.00 left in the bank after selling Szobo to Rogers). Have been toying with the idea of a Leeds DEF (Bogle or Justin), or BHU (Kadıoğlu or Boscagli?) – or someone under 4.8m that’s likely to perform well this week (and hopefully in the future!). Am I missing someone obvious??? (eg. Konsa – who I don’t really want to fill my 3rd Arse spot). Here’s the current team. Cheers in advance.

    • P.S. I have 1 FT left out of 2FTs this week: 😉

      • Konsa is okay until Saliba is back, I would go for him unless you are planing to get Saka in as your third Arsenal player.

  3. Considering a few options here. Would welcome some advice. 1FT 0.7 itb

    1. Roll
    2. Wissa > Barry / DCL
    3. Gakpo > 7.8?

    • Always choose your weakest link to replace first. Gakpo only has one week’s suspension, so maybe roll. Get 2 FTs next week.

      • Any thoughts on who to trade Gakpo for? I’m not excited by any options

        • I think I would leave it and try and get Saka in for Gakpo and Wissa and play 3-5-2 going forward.

  4. Oh bollox! That’s Gravenberch who’s suspended. Maybe trade out Gâkpo if he’s a red!

Do I ditch Bruno and Szob and copy the site team. It will leave me with 1.3m itb.
Then I have to consider Gvardiol who is a rotation risk with CL .
Should I ditch him as well?
    Thoughts please

    • No mate, I’d deffo keep Gvardiol. The other 2 if you want. Or just one this week. If you’re not looking at someone specifically, then I’d limit the trades to one and reconsider next week.
Who’s on your mind HF? (P.s. No you can’t get Jared Bowen in!!! ;))

      • Why can’t I get Jarrod Bowen in? Although rather he does the business for the Hammers.
Well I can’t get Saka or Cherki in without ditching Bruno.
He has Leeds, but Man Utd haven’t been brilliant lately.
Cherki has done better than Saka I think.
If I do Cherki I will have 3ft next week
Better option instead of bringing in both?

        • How about Savio as Spurs have some nice fixtures comng up?

        • Spurs aren’t really an option at the moment.
I know I have Van Hecke, but not sure how long I will have him for

    • Bruno and Szob for Gross and Saka.

If you do the above does that leave you enough for Odegaard to Palmer?
