Finalised Fantasy Football 247 FPL Team – GW3

Fantasy Football 247 FPL TeamWe pre-released our team on Wednesday evening, suggesting that we were just going to make one change. However, as you know, rumours of a hamstring injury to Chelsea striker Diego Costa were beginning to surface, hence we needed to wait for today’s press conferences to clarify the situation with him and indeed everyone in our squad after a busy week of Champions League, Capital One Cup and Europa League action. Jose Mourinho confirmed that Costa is “a big doubt” for the game vs Everton and hence we have decided to sell him, despite the injury not believed to be as serious as first thought. We could have benched him, but we have decided instead to buy Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge. This is a move not just for GW3 but for the medium term as Liverpool have a great run of fixtures coming up and we had no cover from them. For a team that has become free scoring, we felt cover in this area would be essential sooner rather than later and Costa’s injury presented us with the excuse to invest in Liverpool.
To supplement Sturridge we needed to raise 1mln and so we had to use our 2nd free transfer and we have sold Joel Ward and bought Newcastle’s Paul Dummett. We explained our preference for the Newcastle defence on Wednesday and although we would have preferred Daryl Janmaat, price dictated that Dummett was our only option.
Stevan Jovetic remains our captain for this week, with Gylfi Sigurdsson the vice captain.

Well not made any FT this week but will wait until after the break. so I hope Vaar is fit. Have left Louis on the bench and with Bojan they will both be out of the window before the next game week , and Diego plays as his next group of games are good.
    So here’s to patience!

“Adam Lallana is looking “fantastic” and is in line to make his Liverpool debut in Sunday’s Premier League clash with Tottenham, according to Brendan Rodgers.”

For sure he will not be risked this Sunday (maybe introduced in the final 20mins) – but for sure a great attacking (mid ) option for after the Int. break !!
    :hippo:

Rooney, Dzeko or Siggy for capo? Currently on Dzeko due to not trusting United.

Daley Blind going to United, deal is done. >.<

I don't think he's United material but on that note, the entire backline and the midfield ain't United material at the moment.

On that note, the odds have always been against the kid. Everybody was against him. People used to boo him when he started @ Ajax, year later he was voted player of the season by the same fans. Everybody said he wasn’t good enough for the Netherlands but against Spain he showed some magic and everybody was pro-Blind, plus he was good to excellent at all the 3 positions he played for the Netherlands at WC.

Might also be his main problem, you can put him up as leftback, left central defender and as mid. It’s not like he excels in one thing and in my opinion he lacks speed.
