Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2.

Well after an eventful start to the fantasy season we look to settle down a bit with a full set of fixtures and not that blankety blank stuff. Evoking memories of chequebooks and pens.

The very popular Everton assets get us going when they welcome West Brom for a lunchtime kickoff. That is followed by three other Saturday fixtures, Leeds vs Fulham, Man U and Mr. Penalty host Palace and Arsenal take on the all but relegated West Ham, all neatly spaced out so we can sit for about half the day in front of the TV.

Sunday gives us four more games, also kindly spread out, so much so that no two games ever coincide. Saints welcome Spurs in the early one and that is followed by Toon vs Brighton. In the best game on paper Chelsea and their Bundesliga attack take on the champs and the day is closed out when Leicester tangle with Burnley.

Monday brings an interesting contrast in fixtures. One to bore us and hopefully one to entertain us. The Villains play host to Sheffield Utd in the opening game in a likely snoozefest, but hopefully Wolves playing City makes up for it in the late game.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

So ASM is out…injured, walked off. Fraser comes in.

ASM off injured, game week started ok but going downhill at a rate of knots.

Thinking ASM, Auba/Havertz & maybe Doherty or even McCarthy out this week.

Sold Son for Fernandez :dash: United looks shite, no Calvert Levin Wildcard time only Mitrovic looks good in my team

Very conflicted about whether to use my WC or not. This is my current team, was planning to use my 3.0 ITB to do ASM >> Zaha and maybe Wilson >> Calvert Lewin/Jimenez/Jesus

This is some early thoughts on what my WC team could look like. Still a lot to think about like getting Kane or a City mid, but would appreciate some thoughts

      • piksi says:

If I was doing WC I would have DCL and KDB. Also some Leeds players, they are doing well and cheep.

        • Veer says:

Thanks Piksi, I would want KBD but really don’t know how to fit him in there. Don’t want to take out Salah and lose my Liverpool attacking coverage, hence Jesus seems to be the easiest way to get some City attack.
Would you prefer DCL there to Mitrovic? Though it would mean I have to downgrade elsewhere

      • Stone Frog says:

Not enough changes to warrant a WC. May be take a hit if you want to move direction a little. I would think of a WC when you want to make something like 10+ changes.

        • Veer says:

I was thinking the same thing, will wait till the end of the GW before deciding anything so I can have some more information to base decisions on

Lamptey off at 58th min…….thats my luck…2 more minutes and he could have gone out with CS points.

Ugh. Feeling the pain of Son like most. Trying not to think of a WC, but going through the motions. Lol.

McCarthy, ASM, (United aren’t up to speed yet), Vinagre are problems I could solve with a WC.

Current team and WC team. Worth it????
