Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2.
Well after an eventful start to the fantasy season we look to settle down a bit with a full set of fixtures and not that blankety blank stuff. Evoking memories of chequebooks and pens.
The very popular Everton assets get us going when they welcome West Brom for a lunchtime kickoff. That is followed by three other Saturday fixtures, Leeds vs Fulham, Man U and Mr. Penalty host Palace and Arsenal take on the all but relegated West Ham, all neatly spaced out so we can sit for about half the day in front of the TV.
Sunday gives us four more games, also kindly spread out, so much so that no two games ever coincide. Saints welcome Spurs in the early one and that is followed by Toon vs Brighton. In the best game on paper Chelsea and their Bundesliga attack take on the champs and the day is closed out when Leicester tangle with Burnley.
Monday brings an interesting contrast in fixtures. One to bore us and hopefully one to entertain us. The Villains play host to Sheffield Utd in the opening game in a likely snoozefest, but hopefully Wolves playing City makes up for it in the late game.
The games in full…

Chelsea v Liverpool
Alonso at LB, another Salah haul might be on the way.
Yeah and Fabinho at CB. This game should have goals
Wilson not looking like scoring?
Going to have Ryan CS on my bench.
He’s working the centre backs with decent runs but the one free header he had he sent well over the bar.
You have Martin on bench you fraud.
Who? Me?
I think shadow hasn’t changed his team link
Come on Brighton HOLD that clean sheet!
When Son sellers realize he faces Newcastle next.
:big-lol:
Should we be considering maupay?
Right now i’m considering about 25 players… anyone can take like 20 points these days it seems like…
It’s been an awful gameweek after a 96 pointer last week. I guess that’s always the way in FPL! Looking ahead to GW3…..time to WC? I try to hold onto my WC for long as possible but looking at my team a la Vinagre, Saka, ASM, Soucek….it does not bode well. I have 0.0 ITB and 2 FT. Any transfer advice would be much appreciated! :worthy:
I have 10 of the same players as you….I’m probably gonna wildcard me thinks.
From the games so far, better off going for a 4.5m back 5 and pack out the front with premium players
Thoughts on these two wildcard options
A
B
That’s what I did with the WC.
@Kruzcampo
Can you show me your team please
I’m not 100 on which one – if i go Kane i guess i can always downgrade to Martial down the line.
Anyone else. Which option would you go for?
Meslier,McCarthy
Mitchell,Keane,Struijk, Justin,Lewis
Salah,Pea,Fernandes,Saint,JRod
Werner,CDL,Brewster.
Did Pea to Kdb so have 1 mill left. Thinking Struijk to one of the Burnley 4.5s as that will rotate with Justin,or go for Lamptey if fit. If Saint injured then Trossard might come in. Brewster waiting for a transfer, then he will be a player. See how Thiago goes in the 2nd half.
Thanks Kruzcampo
We’ll see how he’s doing in a moment but i might sell TAA and saint Max and bring in son and a bench fodder. But it depends on TAA’s performance today.
But It’s a risky move and i wouldnt do it if my wc was gone, but might do it now…
I think I prefer B, Utd will need a few games to get themselves sorted whereas for Spurs today might have been the spark they needed. No love for City players? I guess we’ll see on Monday how they kick off the season
Cheers Gaz – i’m kind of 50/50 a the moment – i guess with City i could swap out Salah to either KDB or Sterling down thel line. With both teams it comes down to Kane + Mitrovic or Martial + DCL.
With Martial i have united coverage and don’t have to worry if they click.
Agree with u Allan, lot of money tied up in the FPL Golden child
He’s still relatively cheap compared to the premium mids. And it’s not as if he fell off a cliff, yet.
