Grab, Avoid or Bore Off!

Grab, Avoid or Bore Off!

451169898Looking to entertain whilst not losing the opportunity to be somewhat informative we come to a new addition of Grab, Avoid or Bore Off! We have selected a number of quick questions that we have seen on the minds of fantasy managers this past week and hope the many, many, many years of knowledge from our 3 very senior (Queen of England old) writers will assist you in your decision making. They will follow some semblance of order as explained below, but they are stubborn at best and forever crankheads so answers are never restricted by any rules as you will soon find out. Hope you enjoy and now let us get down to business…

Grab – You need this player on your squad.
Avoid – It’s a trap don’t get suckered in.
Bore off – Could care less either way. Grab him, avoid him or dress him up if you like.

    Eagle says:

This is my 1st WC draft. How does it look? It’s set up to do the straight swap from RVP to Kun (when fit). Would play a 3-5-2 with Barnes being benched most games and playing Terry and Alderweireld every week and rotating one of the other 3 defenders. Duff is red flagged at the moment but will leave him in as he should be fit very soon.

      NIN says:

Hey Eagle. There’s not a lot wrong here mate. Only thing that would worry slightly is no United cover once Aguero is back. We’re pretty dodgy these days, but the fixture list suggests we should be scoring quite a few goals over the next month or two. Especially now that we have our best player back, or almost back, from injury.

    Evening you fantastic bunch. Question:

    1) JWP or Boyd?

I’m hoping Johnson really gets into a groove like last season. Other than that, I wish it was Friday already. :s

I backed West Ham to win at 16/5 on HT tonight, which seemed decent…

    Lukaku: 90+2 equaliser.

    Screw you Romelu! laugh

They scored late on? Ouch. I didn’t watch any of it but i seen they were losing at around the 85th i think. City are going to destroy them at the weekend, surely. Where’s Sergio when you need him, eh? laugh

We played quite well NIN and deserved that I felt. Sorry James!

        • NIN says:

Given the recent form, i assumed it to be another iffy at best performance. Good stuff. Still fancy City to bang a few away though.

        • jamesimmo says:

It’s okay init… your bias will not affect me! 😉

Reckon that’ll stop the rot for when you face City?

        • inittowinit says:

Er no! Well you never know actually it could prove to be a turning point, last minute equaliser and the elation of it but the reality is it was a last minute equaliser at home in a game we should have won. The relief was that they finally let the shackles off a bit and went for at the end instead of just tapping it around as if it was a training session. Actually felt like Moysie was back for the last 10!

        • jamesimmo says:

I guess, but hopefully the players can take it as a positive and kick on from here, we’ll see.

Had to keep Baines this gameweek (no FT to sell) but ima probably bench him for this one time.

Cheers for the opinions earlier guys. Still tweaking but now moved toward:

    Pantimillion/Heaton
    Terry/Fonte/Debuchy/Bruce/Cameron
    Siggy/Sanchez/Hazard/Di Maria/Eriksen
    Costa/Ings/Kane

And can do Costa/Aguero & Siggy/Fer when the time comes.
