Grab, Avoid or Bore Off!

Grab, Avoid or Bore Off!

What happens when we have too many days between fixtures? That’s right we come out with another instalment of grab, avoid or bore off! As anyone who has read it before knows, we do try and offer some valuable insight, but with a twist. While trying to give you some sensible opinions on transfers and other matters we certainly have some fun with it. This will be no different as we look at what players you should be looking to buy, hold or sell and also offering an opinion on Pelle’s granny goalkeeping skills. Yeah, you read that right. Well no more waffling from me as you will certainly get enough from our 3 ‘pros’ who never seem to follow the instructions below. So let the rambling commence…

[clear]Grab – You need this player on your squad.
Avoid – It’s a trap don’t get suckered in.
Bore off – Could care less either way. Grab him, avoid him or dress him up if you like.

    Great read guys cheers.
Here’s my current team and I just think I need to change up my defence a bit or maybe I have some other needs elsewhere, possibly JWP. What do you guys think?

      Matt

I really like that squad mate well done.

I’d actually leave JWP there as I’m sure his point scoring potential is never really that far away with his set piece delivery.

Haidara would be my move here. Nothing wrong with the player as such but I just think Newcastle are winding down the season and I’m not convinced they collectively are playing for the manager so double coverage doesn’t appeal to me. How about some Swansea coverage instead?

I’d roll one of your transfers over.

      • MattX says:

        Cheers GP.

I was thinking that his set pieces would get me a few points but he seems to have lost his place recently but he wasn’t my main concern it’s my defence.

Who would you bring in for Haidara and should I sell Rose or Wisdom their fixtures don’t look the best?

        • Matt

          How about Naughton from Swansea?

I think Rose and Lescott do you mean (?) are decent picks for their price.

        • Albertini says:

Matt – I agree with GP, Naughton for Haidara if you have enough funds would be my move aswell.

You should also plan to bring in Hazard asap imo, maybe through a Giroud or Caz downgrade.

        • MattX says:

Right cheers fellas. I can make the Naughton transfer but I think I’ll find it hard to bring in Hazard, I’d have to downgrade two players to raise the funds.
