Welcome to the opening instalment of Grab, Avoid or Bore off for the 2016-17 season. Lovely to be back with you the wonderful FPL community and guess what I have in store for all of you? The same 3 fellas who always do it…well, that was an exciting announcement. Much like Wenger, I don’t like to spend money for any new strikers, so no need to break up the 3 Amigos. Unlike Wenger’s crew, this trio of attacking talent always delivers the goods, sort of. Showing that they haven’t lost a step and have all the important nuggets of information you all desire, they reveal to us things like Cahill is Cahill (shocker), that Kop is actually Mr. Excitement, that I might have a soft spot for Costa, that Cookie is absolutely ready when it comes to cheap strikers and that Init has figured out the Italian secret for preserving ageing defenders. Yes!! Yes!! With that kind of info, you certainly can’t afford to not read up and get yourself ready for the upcoming season. So without further ado, bring on Bore off!

Awesome article guys. Always one of my favorites to avoid, I mean grab.. It’s just 1 behind my monologues. Okay, maybe two. But…. it comes close… this is what matters. Keep up the good spirit, you will get there someday. 😉

I’m still undecided on a lot of players but you’ve pretty much covered all the ones that are on my ‘to consider list’ so whilst I’m still in for a few more weeks of chopping and changing at least I know I’m not alone in these decisions! Might throw up a RMT after this weekends fixtures … If I can make one and leave it alone for more than an hour!
Cheers Rosco. Fire away on the RMT. They’ve been fairly diverse so far which is very promising for an interesting season ahead in FPL.
Always love these, gives me a bit of reassurance that I’m not the only one thinking in certain ways about FPL!

This is my latest draft. Two keepers in for Courtois & Jaku and Pieters / Barkley in for McAuley & Redmond. The 4.5 defensive boys & keepers aren’t set but they’ll be at that price range. Question really is, Courtois CS potential for the first 3-6 weeks or Barkleys attacking potential?…

Actually quite like this team. Allen who now plays for Stoke is a stopgap untill the Week 4 wildcard to afford the big hitters in midfield and attack!
Team looks good. Ibra will eat up all the goals though. He’ll be selfish as fuck and it’s going to hurt managers. Ibra has something to proof. Omg, Ibra (mean ManU) versus Arsenal is going to be epic.

Love the optimism! It is a nice team though. Allen is a ? as is Rondon but they can be switched if need be pretty easily.
WC to get the Arsenal players in Alexis Özil and Koscielny!
Seems a bit over the top to me. Is there really a need to use our most powerful chip for a few Arsenal players? Not that they’d be the only changes of course but it does seem a bit extreme. Bank a FT and bring in two.
