Grab, Avoid or Bore Off!

Grab, Avoid or Bore off!

Welcome to the opening instalment of Grab, Avoid or Bore off for the 2016-17 season. Lovely to be back with you the wonderful FPL community and guess what I have in store for all of you? The same 3 fellas who always do it…well, that was an exciting announcement. Much like Wenger, I don’t like to spend money for any new strikers, so no need to break up the 3 Amigos. Unlike Wenger’s crew, this trio of attacking talent always delivers the goods, sort of. Showing that they haven’t lost a step and have all the important nuggets of information you all desire, they reveal to us things like Cahill is Cahill (shocker), that Kop is actually Mr. Excitement, that I might have a soft spot for Costa, that Cookie is absolutely ready when it comes to cheap strikers and that Init has figured out the Italian secret for preserving ageing defenders. Yes!! Yes!! With that kind of info, you certainly can’t afford to not read up and get yourself ready for the upcoming season. So without further ado, bring on Bore off! Seriously who got excited by his exploits football wise in the Euro’s?
Once up against decent teams he flops.
    PSG????
How many good team’s are there in the French League?
    5 maybe?
In the Premier I’d say 15 team’s would hold there own in that Frog League.
Plus why did Mourinho go hook line and sinker to bag him?
Answer= to stop his competition from buying him.
Look elsewhere and make your squad more balanced!
Go with him and fail !

Can’t agree there Potty I’m afraid. His supply line for Sweden is nothing like what he’s had at club level for any team. And he’s won a fair few leagues in that time! You could likewise say Lewan disappointed at the Euro’s in relation to his usual Bayern returns. Well, no shit Sherlock. His support team at United is looking fairly strong so far. And will be added to further.

his explosiveness is scary. at any point he can score a double or a hat trick and before you know it you are chasing after him.
my philosophy is, it’s easier (and less risky) to get rid of him than try to buy him later. anyways, with so many good premium mid options, we don’t know who’s going to have a great start, so if ibra fails, we know which mid to pick too from the money gained by selling him.

Well that was brilliant as ever.

Can we have reader’s question guest slot each time? Mine – what’s Mito really like?

Thanks you four, that was very entertaining :ok:

    Who fancy’s a Potty tip?
    Albert Adomah of Middlesbrough FC
He is Ghanaian and play’s in midfield, his pace is just electric.
    I know my Championship footballers.

Right here we go. Before we judge, know that in an effort to start well for once this team is basically going balls deep on the first two weeks with a view to banking a transfer to bring in United cover for the spanking of Hull in week three. Quite different in many ways but still some of the same names. Not sure if this is a legit rmt request, maybe more just putting it out there to further confuse laugh

    Here she blows…

It’s decent enough for the first 2 weeks mate. I started to do something similar by just looking at the first 3 weeks but got bored so just hit reset. There are a few questions I have though; like is Kingsley going to play at all or is he a bench filler and if he is then I’d look at upgrading at least him or Parades. One question I was about to put up is about Pickford, do you think he will get gametime at Sunderland I read today that he is fancied as the next Butland so at 4.0 could be a bargain in a team that could keep some CS.

      • NIN says:

Kingsley might get a game, not bothered if he doesn’t. First i heard of Pickford maybe playing, i just put him in there to remove the temptation of actually starting a Hull GK. It’s an 11 for mainly two weeks with some more long term guys in there. Bank a FT, play 2, bank, 2, bank… etc, or thereabouts.

        • Matt says:

Ah right okay. Yeah I didn’t think he would either but after seeing that little bit about him today I was interested instead of Jakupovic. Sounds good let’s hope there’s no injuries to throw a spanner in the works

        • NIN says:

what will be will be. This may not end up being the finished product but it’s damn close i think. Triple City / Leicester for GW1 is happening anyway. Unless Mahrez leaves. Then it’s back to square one.

NiN I would probably get Mikhitarayan instead of Silva, just to spread the coverage initially. Also doubling up on Leic? I’m not sure right now
