Grab, Avoid or Bore off!
Welcome to our second installment of Grab, Avoid or Bore off for the 2015-16 season. For those new to the site, it is a simple question and answer segment that covers everything from the serious to the absurd. So why do we call it that? Tradition, is the easy answer as we basically have veered so far off course that it barely has any resemblance to the original format. Thanks to our members for some of the ideas on the questions, we tried to include most of them or some semblance of them. Well enough of the small talk from me, let’s see what the girls have to say about a number of topics ranging from FPL dilemmas to who is cuter?
Silva out for two weeks again..great…as if aguero was less painful.
This makes the decisions easy now though..both out for kdb and pelle/costa..

Just annoyed that I can’t fix my defence now Kun is injured.

Thats what the plan was and still is buddy..
Last season I wanted to hold on to mine but than there was this gameweek with Costa being red carded, Kos red carded and so on. Could just field 8 players with a hit. So I had to use it in November. >.<
DREADFUL! After that everything got worse, really.
End with a 4400 ranking though.
I remember that..and i also remember that at u finished very good last season. But, u were on a leading front since the very beginning. This time we’ll have to struggle for that kind of lead per say.
I’m pretty happy being ranked within the top 100k. Almost six green arrows in a row, Lukaku spoiled me party in GW 7 though, even though I had a decent score of 54, red arrow. >.<
Anyway, after the terrible start being in the top100k feels freaking awesome.
Same here Raz..started the season in the other half..now amongst the top 3 percent of the world..thst a good feat for now..hope to see myself in the .03% may be..
Even though I wanted Pelle I am starting to lean towards Costa. Falcao seems to be competely out of favor and Remy isn’t good enough for Chelsea. Will be easier to upgrade Costa to Kun. If I go with Pelle I bet I have to work out finances later.
On that note, still don’t have Soton or WHU coverage.
Costa seemed like the obvious replacement to me at first, but dont think I can afford both Costa and Pedro in my team.
With WHU time to wait for Song & be ‘on song’.
Then it will gold rush on Sakho.
Aaah yes people, not that you guys care but the Dutch won’t be at the European Championships in 2016. Hiddink and Blind failed miserable, selecting just players from teams they managed or were players at. There is no denying we are pretty shite, but this beats it all. Fourth in one of the weaker groups. LMAO!

I don’t think the Dutch are out of it yet as it’s not like the Turks have been setting the world on fire themselves lately, you will be needing them to lose at least one of the last two games though.
Against 2 teams that already made it to the next round. Look at Ireland or was it N-Ireland beating Germany with 1-0. You only win those games because they are already in the next rounds. The Czechs and the Icemen aren’t that good and if they play on 90 or less percent I don’t see the Turkish losing. But we’ll see.
Not often I blame the manager because he’s only as good as his material. But if you don’t field the best players because of club history, you suck monkeyballs. I hate politics in football. Blind is just as mediocre a manager as his son is a player. 😉
Raz, we beat Germany because we deserved to beat them and the Germans had not qualified prior to the game.

In all honesty, I don’t follow the international break, just heard that Germany lost versus N-Ireland or Ireland. I think both N-Ireland and Ireland are through? Or am I way off? *shrugs*

Just noticed WHU are playing Crystal Palace, not an easy visit.

Just looked at your team, you do have a few more problems. On a positive note, many will try and fix it right now and many will take or probably already have taken a hit. So many early FT”s used, it’s crazy. I’d wait as long as possible with doing transfers though, even though it’s hard losing value.
I will just sit on my hands till next friday. Value is irrelevant right now since we have players like Mahrez/Vardy/Payet/Mane excelling.
Would you double up on Southampton (mane and pelle) or arsenal (Walcott and sanchez)…..or take all four and drop payet/Mahrez( if yes, which one)?
Why not have one from each instead of leaving one team out totally with a double up?
Yep agreed, wouldn’t want to be losing either Payet or Mahrez at this point.
Even with Aguero being out Citeh are probably the only team I’d double up on at this stage, Mane or Pelle would be a tough call but I’d take Sanchez over Wally still.
Afternoon all any more news on Kuns injury how lg is he out for. Bit out of the lope been out & about.
2-8 weeks is what i’ve read mate. If he makes the derby, he’ll probably get injured in the game.
At least a month Silvers and that’s being optimistic. Probably more like 6 weeks. Which pub are you sat outside of today?

YeS NiN I’m already -4 but might take another hit I’m thinking Kane @ this minuet I know he hasn’t performed but Spurs fixtures look good.
This season has been a head ache so far but that’s why we love it.
Yeah Kane is a consideration. Next three are good and then three derby’s after that. There’s usually a good few goals in those games.
init – What route would you be looking at if this were your lot? Already on a -4 for the Southampton guys, a risk that has not payed off! Oh well.

Seriously though I’d probably play Sako and leave Kun until next week. Any replacement would have to beat Sako by 5 to make a points profit. Who’s likely to do that this week in the forwards bracket? Costa – maybe, but they’re hardly in form. Vardy – maybe, I’d expect goals in that game. Bony – maybe.

Playing Sako was my first thought but he was left out in the last game and they played really well from what i seen. I fear the same again, leaving one of those terrible defensive fixtures to come in. Costa and Sturridge are no go’s, for me. Vardy, Bony, Lukaku or Martial maybe? Possibly Kane actually. He’s playing well, just not scoring yet. Risky one, that.
I think you’ve subconsciously prioritised that list there. Probably the order I’d put them in also.
Ha, maybe so actually! If only there was a way to ensure Sako would play. If something were to “happen” to Bolasie/Puncheon/Zaha then cuddles would be guaranteed a start. I wonder could Mito sort something out 😉

I don’t think the club have officially announced anything yet but PhysioRoom say it’ll be up to 3 weeks.
