Grab, Avoid or Bore Off! – Fantasy Premier League 2019-20
International Break time, can only mean one thing.
That’s right is is Bore Off time with the three amigos. After getting a look of four gameweeks of action, we have asked our three forced volunteers to give us their opinions on some fpl related questions and of course as is tradition some non fpl related questions. For those of you only here for the Giroud :buba: related question just skip straight to the last question.
So without further ado, let us get to it!
Thanks for reading Grab, Avoid or Bore Off!. This article was written by Mito21.

If Pukki, Hayden and Tammy were the same price, which two would you have? :friends:
Hayden should be Haller!
So if Pukki, Haller and Tammy were the same price, which two would you have?
Haller and Tammy
How about which one of those two to go alongside Aguero in a 4-4-2 Zed & Ben?
Hey Colriles I genuinely don’t know. Haller has zero competition so I’d probably go for him.
To be fair at first I thought Ben was asking which ONE out of the three we’d have and I could not decided between Haller and Tammy, then I read again and to my huge relief he was asking for TWO instead 😆
It was a slightly oddly complex question, for which I apologise. But the reason behind the question was even more odd and complex!
Ben, good luck with whatever you’re dealing with!
Cheers Ben & Zed! Hammers fixtures are pretty decent for a while, Haller might be the one.
Pukki and Tammy. As already alluded to in the past by several Finnish fans, Pukki’s the GOAT!
:laugh2:
Haller and Pukki. If fit they will be nailed starters all season in attacking sides. Tammy is great, but may be rotated and subbed especially with the champions league starting. Barnes us also interesting.
Is there any sort of comprehensive list of who is playing, when and where during this international break?
https://twitter.com/StatOnScout/status/1168549650204372992
A list of players who have been called up for international duty during this international break. Includes lower age groups too (e.g. U21).
Awesome! Thank you!
:good:
The GOAT will play twice in Tampere, Finland, not that far away and it’s good Finnish black pudding he’ll enjoy there so he will be back stronger than he was when he left… Against Greece on Thursday and Italy on Sunday…
Could someone advise on Comment No. 18?
Please and Thank You.
Evening all. No plans to do early transfers but giving some thought to my moves. 2 FT, ).1m ITB
A – Rashford/Martial/Duffy > Tammy/KDB/Lundstram – though this leave me having to play Dendonker or Lund
B – Rashford/Greenwood/Duffy > Tammy/Barnes/Lund moving to a 3-4-3
C – Something with Calum Wilson who has returned every game so far and has decent fixtures ahead
D – Other?
Any thoughts?
I would consider losing Robertson in order to get KDB for Martial… Or perhaps a hit to lose both Rashford and Keen to Barnes and Pukki… Would that leave enough for Martial —> KDB?
Half a million short Zed. I had planned on giving Robbo a couple of more weeks – partly because it could be high reward, and partly because I’m Scottish and loathe to do it. I’ve had Robbo as a team fixture since before it was fashionable :worthy:
Yeah I think Robertson will deliver attacking returns soon, I am personally holding onto him for at least a little while longer!
Tough for you to get KDB then… Perhaps A is a good choice for you though, I think Duffy at 5.0m should go, perhaps it’s not that bad to play Lundstram or Dendoncker all the time… Do you still have WC left? If you have then A is a good choice as you can always use the WC to rectify things but KDB will soar in price so you need to jump on him quickly now, if you want him that is…
Still have the WC so might have a look at options, but I prefer to hold it until I really need it. I seem to recall that a lot of the early Wildcarders – and especially the ones at the first IB – struggled last year as the early runners seemed to grind to a halt.
Just as well there’s a couple of weeks to try and make up my mind what to do as really struggling to decide at the moment :dunce:
Got to give Robbo the Newcastle game I think. Returns have been frustrating though I must admit
Evening all,
International football is usually good ONCE it starts but the lead up to it is soooooo boring :nono:
Thank you for the GABO boys. Superb answers to some fantastic questions.
It’s perfect timing! #Ashes
I like Martial —> KDB. You need £2.2m for that move, and you have £1m ITB. So gotta find the other £1.2m.
Response to redrobbo :dash:
Easy Done GentleBenAKA.
I’ve only got 0.1m – bad typing skills on display there! Basically, Getting KDB needs a hit to bring in, or get rid of Robbo.
And bad reading on my behalf, soz. Would be a massive shame to lose Robbo. And there’s nothing wrong with a “mini wildcard”, so I’d go for the hit and do (A) as you say above.
