Grab, Avoid or Bore Off! – Fantasy Premier League 2019-20

With the resumption of the Premier League, and of course FPL, things are finally back to normal, right? Well, not quite! That said, what is normal these days?

Whilst we have all been diligently following government legislation for what feels like an eternity, football of any description feels like a welcome distraction for some, and others an unnecessary risk. Wherever you sit on that debate we respect your opinion. Whether you’re for or against football without fans matters little, that’s how it’s going to be, so let’s just suck it up and get back to why we’re here; FPL.

Maybe you used a Chip for the DGW that never was, blew your Wildcard preparing for fixtures that didn’t happen, or used your weekly FT’s during the lockdown perfecting your team only for everyone to be given unlimited Free Transfers. Dems the breaks kids.

With unlimited Free Transfers, Chips still to play and a whole host of changes to football that will likely have ramifications for our FPL season finale, we thought what better time to turn to our Amigo’s and see how they plan to see out their season in style before riding off into the sunset… ready to come back again a few weeks later.

  1. Looking ahead on wildcard I quite like Auba and Kane up top. Spurs have a great run of games Then once Auba has his nice two fixtures Saints and Norwich, it gets tough after swapping to Aguero who has a very favourable run after his two tough fixtures

    • I prefer Son and 1.1m to spend elsewhere, instead of Kane. Overal I think I prefer having my cash in midfield with Salah, Mane and KDB as my main investments.

      • Yeah tbf Son might be a better bet

      • Yeah, I’d love to have Son but that might mean having no MC or LiV cover in midfield which is a bit of a scary thought.

    • If I were wildcarding I would love a back 3 of TAA, Doherty and Alonso! It does take some cash, but may offer good value.

      • I might avoid them in truth on wildcard. They are players that could easily be rotated with a lot of games in a dirty space of time. The difficulty is though I see more goals in games and all three of them are great going forward but I think we would be relying on their attacking returns

      • SF, are you sticking to FHing?

  2. I agree with Stone. Son is a better option.

    • Yeah could be 0.9 cheaper which is more than I thought. Will see how they look against United and whether Kane is still playing on the half way line or is in the thick of the action

  3. I think I’m between these two teams currently

  4. Hi gang,

I have all the usual game week suspects but what is better option:-

A – Bellerin & Sterling & save bench boost to later in season.

B – Laporte & Saka & bench boost of soyuncu, maddison & Vardy (away to Watford).

    Thanks

    Jamie

    • Bellerin was playing the majority of games just before the break and LaPorte will surely be managed due to his return from injury. Bellerin and Sterling for me. What’s the BB on that one?

    • I think I prefer A. But it depends on when the BB will be used and will you have a full set

    • Thanks GP & Smash.

I have a feeling with the BLM that sterling will be buzzing for these double games.

I will be wild carding on Wednesday night in preparation of game week 31+ so will ensure a full bench of hopefully regular starters.

      Jamie

  5. Hi guys, thoughts on this team?

  6. Hello everyone this Friday.

How does this look for a FH team?
