Grab, Avoid or Bore Off! – Fantasy Premier League 2020-21

International break time always means a Bore Off.

I have gathered the original amigos for this edition because in a season of wild ups and downs you want to have something that you can count on and these three are always willing to share their bad opinions, innuendo and occasionally good advice for fpl.

Without further ado, let us see what they had to say.

Thanks for reading Grab, Avoid or Bore Off!. This article was written by Mito21.

Thoughts on this side for the coming week?
Have 6.5 itb to have fun for – maybe Lookman to Bruno if Son is gtg. Hmm.

    1 FT and 2.1 ITB
Is it time to start planning for a pool player or wait for a while?

Which one in particular, dare I ask… mosking

      • Init, it’s a pity FPL don’t have the same system like Bundesliga and UCL fantasy games where players prices are based on performance and not sales. If that was the case, Salah shuld be at 8.0/8.5 after the last five games. Maybe I could settle for Jota unknw

I’d wait with getting pool, see how they do vs Arsenal first – and that’s from one who has been holding Salah and TAA (way) too long smile

Good to save. Liverpool can wait a week

      • Cheers Smash, that’s the plan for now.
Think Son will be fine by then, and even if he isn’t, Lingard will come in.

        • Smash says:

Are you planning on keeping Son longer term? I’m unsure that’s why I ask

        • Don’t know tbh. The thing is that he goes together with Kane. The one I am not sure is Bale, think it was short lasting hype when like many I jumped on the wagon to get him. Maybe another couple of games to find out was it a flash in the pan or someone to keep.

        • Stone Frog says:

If Son’s fit it makes sense to keep him. He will have a DGW which more than likely you would want him for, so I wouldn’t spend 2FT to take him out and then back in. It would be nice to have other options so you can bench him now and then though.

        • Smash says:

I don’t think he necessarily goes with Kane but think he’s the best player in that bracket. You don’t have to have both. But he’s a good option in his own right. Bale’s comments about Spurs and recently being left out for not tracking back means he will likely have to go I think

You have 5 blankers for GW33, something to keep in mind, but you could bank this week and see if we get any hint whether the Spurs double is before or after GW33.

      • Thanks SF. It has been a messy season with all these cancelations which led to numerous blanks and doubles. Looks like it will finish that way but nothing we can do about it.

      • Smash says:

I have 5 currently. My plan is to build up the squad so I can bench three who will be Dias, Kane and Gundogan. Means I’ll sell Cancelo soon. Son is the one I’m not sure what to do with if I sell him temporary or what to do with as I’ll need 11 that GW but also depends when they double

These blanks are definitely not helping matters
