Grab, Avoid or Bore Off!

Grab, Avoid or Bore Off!

A bore off special edition you say? Yeah, we think we can manage that. So we went ahead and rounded up our 3 pistoleros and asked them to answer 5 important questions that are bugging many a manager. With so much time to tinker, we thought it important to address some of the concerns we have heard in our chat community. No! Not the monkey pictures, as we have grown quite fond of them to be honest. But DGW concerns for the upcoming week and a future one. Also addressing what to do with 2 South American stars and last but not least, maybe a tip or two on how to crawl back into your mini league race. So although we have named it the usual grab, avoid or bore off, it is really just a façade for a lot of waffling with a hint of relevant information.

So much for only 5 questions! Apparently our three Amigos can’t play serious just this one time, so we had to add a couple of questions for them to have a giggle. So per request here are five more so our three writers can be, well…themselves.

Haha, brilliant! *3 amigos pelvic thrust*

Follow-up to Q2, I’ve got Kane/Kun/Giroud, 2FT, think I NEED Austin? Leading my ML by 70 odd points, both closest chasers have him, but I resisted last time and reaped the benefits from Giroud in the next few games. Am planning to sell Giroud for Costa for GW 33 and should be able to raise funds either way. What would you fellas do?

    Great read gents!!
    RMT?
    Pantilimon (Krul)
Naughton Zouma Kos Bertrand (Dawson – suspended)
    Hazard Downing Sanchez (Puncheon Boyd)
    Aguero Rooney Kane C
    1m itb 2FT

Thinking of downgrading Sanchez to Caz, Ozil or Ramsey then use the funds to do Zouma to Ivan/Terry the following GW (if Ozil then will be Terry, if Ramsey/Caz then can be Ivan)
Keeping 0.4m aside for Rooney to Costa for the DGW

Unless you guys have better ideas?

Yeah I definitely wouldn’t be replacing him with another Arsenal player now. Silva would be my preference all day long but that may scupper your next move money wise in which case I’d go Mata.

      • PeterPan says:

Think Mata will keep his place if he blanks next GW?
        Remember its LvG…

        • inittowinit says:

Yeah I think he will but I also don’t think he’ll blank vs Villa. City game will have goals. Chelsea maybe not so much. Not for United anyway! Silva?

        • PeterPan says:

If I go Silva then I miss out of Terry by 0.1m…
Its tough with a break and Di Maria back and RvP coming back soon as well… Matas spot is touch and go.
He started the last 2 of 8 games and played 206 min in his last 8 games…

        • inittowinit says:

He’s been way out of favour hence not starting but he’s got his chance and certainly taken it. Maybe wouldn’t have if ADM hadn’t got the daft red but he’s grasped it and made it bloody hard to drop him again now. He’s fantasy gold when he gets a run. Most combined goals and assist in the PL of any midfielder since he arrived in England. And that’s with sitting on the bench for a long time as well. Him vs Villa or an Arsenal mid who is under threat of rotation and will need binning in 2 weeks anyway? Yeah I’d go him. Or Silva laugh

        • PeterPan says:

          Fair point Innit,
Got a 100+ lead in my ML so going for overall rank. Just inside top 20K but want to make top 10K… so might be worth the risk

      • PeterPan says:

After Villa its City and Chelsea for United…

        • ChrisOllie25 says:

RvP and ADM form have been poor so I can see Mata keeping his place until end of the season

Is mata in the Spain squad? I very much doubt he is just checking? Thinking about bringing him in soonish

Also, N’Doye –> Austin or Benteke for the DGW? Benteke looks to be fit for Belgium so if he comes through the international games, worth a punt? Got $7.5 to spare if I sell N’Doye.

2 FT with 4.2 ITB ? which move is suggested?
