Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW22

Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW22. Welcome back and Happy New Year from your H&L team! We’ve a lot to catch up on as we left you with a lot to do over the Christmas period, and boy did you do it! We were rather hoping it may prove too much and that we’d have about 5 entries to count up but bugger us you’re a dedicated lot and we got even more than normal… b@3%@2ds!!!

Given how much we struggle to get things correct in a normal week you’ll have to forgive us if the following isn’t even close to be being accurate but with 4 weeks to contend with at once here’s our attempt at presenting the winners…

GW 18 Winner: mahelmy with 10
Honourable mentions to Gavy, Kushan Samararatne and Zed Leppelin with 8.

GW 19 Winner: Leprechaun with 12
Honourable mentions to OddDane and Mosc1938 with 11.

GW 20 Winner: Cookie with 16 (the best score from this run of 4 gws)
Honourable mentions to Perun86, Coys9 and Igy4 with 14 (strange that all these manager’s names end with numbers!)

GW 21 Winner: mahelmy (again!) with 12
Honourable mentions to DenPerryDidIt with 11 and Smash with 10.

Oddly nobody guessed the 1st goalscorer in any of these 4 GW’s.

An interesting (but unannounced) sub-competition for the H&L festive period was underway too! The winner of the 4 GW’s cumulatively was actually Gavy who also walks away with a prize with 40 points overall (followed by Coys9 with 39 and Mosc1938 with 37).

On a sub-plot note our favourite man Raziel himself actually honoured us with an entry. A meagre 5 points but perhaps worth a mention…

And so; Many Congratulations to mahelmy, Cookie, Leprechaun and Gavy. Please email us here; contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk to claim your prize.

The Overall League Table
Leprechaun is our new leader followed Smash with The Padster hanging on to close the podium.

THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… Scoring couldn’t be simpler:
Correct Score = 3 points
Correct result = 1 point
Correct First Goalscorer of the game-week = 5 points

(to clarify this is who you think will score the 1st goal of the entire GW, not just in any game you choose to pick yourself!)

(Points are awarded on an ‘either/or’ basis, so you’ll either score 3 points for a Correct Score or 1 point for a Correct Result, these are never added together for a 4 point score.)

Tie-Breaker In the event that two or more members are tied as winners for the week the overall winner of the t-shirt will be decided by a tie-breaker. In order to do this, we ask that you also post your prediction of the time that the first goal of the week will be scored at. Nearest the pin wins.

The Rules… They are few; 1 entry per person and all entries must be submitted prior to the first game of the game-week. Kick-off this week comes on Friday at 8:00 pm. Once all the games have been played, we’ll count up the scores and the winner(s) will be announced in the following week’s competition article and each week our winner will walk away with an FF247 branded t-shirt! ). So just to recap all you need to do is; – Copy and paste the fixtures from below and pop your score prediction on each. – Tell us who you think will be the first goal scorer of the week (and that can be from any game regardless of your other predictions) – Add in your time of the first goal of the week for any potential tie-breaker situation.

Here are the fixtures, best of luck to you all!
