Fantasy Football Live Match ChatWelcome to Live Match Chat Game-week 7 FPL News: Our game-week begins with our 3rd Friday night game of the season as Palace travel to face Everton. Everton will be keen to bounce back from their first defeat of the season last weekend at the hands of Bournemouth while Palace will hope to make it four wins on the bounce. Anyone for a Belgian captain?!

Moving onto Saturday and we have five games in store. The early kick off sees an inform Liverpool side travel down to Wales to take on a Swansea side who sit one point above the relegation zone. At 3pm Hull who have conceded nine in their last two games host a Chelsea side reeling from defeats to Liverpool & Arsenal. Bottom of the table Sunderland host West Brom. Watford host Bournemouth. While West Ham will be desperate to put a run of four straight defeats behind them as they host Middlesbrough.

As a result of midweek European football we have another four games on Sunday afternoon. We begin the day at lunchtime in Manchester as United will aim to build upon their win over Leicester with a victory over winless Stoke. The aforementioned Leicester will aim to put the loss to United behind them as they entertain Southampton. Hi James,
I really liked the look of Son on MOTD.
Not afraid to shoot and possibly on pens now.
The only thing he has 2 games for South Korea against Qatar (home) and Iran (away) over the international break.
So he may come back jaded.

For me I would lose Antonio.

I like here a lot. The debates and articles are brilliant and it makes FPL way more enjoyable but the reaction to the Costa Ibrahimovic thing has really shocked me. I was having a bit of banter with the Ibrahimovic owner’s and even put a 😉 on the end to emphasise that. Yet still everyone took it super seriously. I was even told to f off in capital letters by someone. I didn’t know this place was so serious about FPL and you couldn’t have a laugh about player X flopping and player Y not flopping. I won’t try and have a joke about players again if it causes this sort of reaction.

Gunners – the nature of the site means we are serious over FPL! However I’d like to think that we have laid the foundation for people to have fun and banter and to share the ups and the downs.
Rubbing people’s noses in it if their captain failed is not what we are about. It gets people’s back up and leaves a nasty taste when it is done as you did it – “Look at me and Costa, I was telling all you Ibra owners to go Costa and see I was right and now you’re all stuffed.”
Now that may not be word for word but that was the tone.
Its not the way we roll on here – for sure celebrate the good choices but not at the expense of everyone else.
      And link your team.

      Gunners,

It’s all good man. Seriously. I think you just need to refine how you banter is all. For example, if you’re going to brag, you have to back it up with proof – otherwise bragging looks like lying. And nobody likes liar.

Let me give you an example. When I say that I’m the best landscaper on the site, I can’t just leave it like that. I have to link some pictures to some stellar lawns and gardens.

When I say that Mexicans are better than Columbians, I have to go out and find digital proof (it’s not hard to do, google was designed for this sole purpose I’ve found).

So here’s what you have to do for proper banter:
      1) Link your team (not a picture of a team, your team name and url)
      2) Always make fun of yourself more than you make fun of others
      3) When in doubt, make fun of Columbians if you’re struggling for a punchline.

Do those three simple things and watch how popular you get here on the site.

        Some sound advice there.

Gunners, i think you’re alright pal. You actually remind me a lot of a young Cookie, and he turned out just fine.

Re. The swearing incident, I think you just caught Elle on a bad day. He recently found out that picture of a really ugly man in his hallway is actually a mirror.

      Gunners,

I must of missed those comments, usually everyone is usually spot on and I’ve only seen a few comments that have crossed the line since I’ve been a member on this site.

We all get a bit sore after we have a shocking GW so take no notice mate

P.S i had a few emails off some of the lads after they had a blinding GW and went top in our ML’s, I just sent them this link in response smile

Ibra is the better pick anyway, Costa gets a yellow every time he scores, pretty much gets 6 points only. Ibra might not have scored much, but he doesnt get many yellows and has explosive potential. Like the Man U game at the weekend, Grant was world class. So your prediction was right or wrong? Cause Ibra looked alright to me, did you predict a championship quality keeper pulling off a world clas effort? Thats some fore sight right there 😉
It may have worked out this week, but thats all down to Grant tbh not Ibras lack of skill or effort.
That said I have neither and want neither

    Morning all,

I’m on 41 points with nice red arrows laugh
Ibra didn’t give me decent points for the last 2 GW.
Thought about dump him but I watched United last 2 games, maybe I will keep him for a while since I don’t know yet who to get.

It’s gonna be a while but any suggestion would be very welcome ? 1FT and £1.3 ITB.
    A. Ozil & Capoue to Sanchez and £4.5 Mid (-4 and weak mid)
    B. Ozil, Capoue & McAuley to Sanchez, Allen & Martina (-8)
    C. Ibra & Ozil to Sanchez & Lukaku/Costa (-4)

Gonna do the transfer after the IB.

    Cheers.

Wow!!! I got 58 (-8) thanks to a certain Laurent Koscielny who saved my GW with a massive 15. Heroic performance, thanks mate! <3

Can’t decide which transfer should I go for?
    A. Koscielney in Valencia out?
    B. Son in Antonio out?
    C. Hold the transfer.
