    Hi offside,

A for me, but wait till IB over if money not too tight.

    Milburn says:

Morning everyone… think my team should be linked now.
Who’s everyone thinking about replacing Ibra with? I’ve already got Aguero and Deeney alongside.

      Milburn says:

2FTs and 0.3 in the bank…. what to do?

      • inittowinit says:

I think logically you lose Ibra and upgrade Fletcher to Wally, I’m just not sure which striker you get instead.

        • Milburn says:

Yeah that’s what I was thinking Init, then maybe playing AOA because I obviously didn’t factor this weeks defensive fixtures into my WC team.
Am I losing the plot in even considering Bonny? I know he hasn’t scored yet but with Sunderland, Hull and Swansea you’d think it can’t be far off. Nobody’s fixtures really stand out.

        • inittowinit says:

Yeah I’m just looking at them now and I have no idea which one to suggest for the best really. I’ve got a similar situation only I’m bringing in Sanchez not Wally and my striker will be Deeney. It’s going to be a punt whichever way you go really. Bony or Defoe would probably be the ones I’d consider but I’m not saying it with any degree of certainty or enthusiasm!

        • Milburn says:

Yeah I appreciate that; at least there’s plenty of pondering time. Benteke also an option now the lord has turned Palace’s fortunes around.

      • Wafflez says:

i would problably do Ibra to Benteke and Flettcher to Son if that were my team, unless there are injuries of course ….

      • DMC says:

Milburn – I have Bony myself and for that exact reason: fixtures. This, however, may not be a good enough reason, you see, he has now started 4 games in a row and did feck all, so form is not there really. Not even near people like Benteke, Defoe, Rondon, Rashford, Wilson, etc.. I also saw him subbed for crouch with 60´´ and 76´´ in their last two games when they were 0-0 at home to WBA and 0-1 to Utd at old trafford, which worries me.
That being said, I guess he’s due to start scoring at some point so I will keep him for now, given the fixtures and other pressing issues. Not sure I would advise anyone to buy him though. At least not until he starts producing something.

Same situ as most people Milburn, even me. There are a lot of choices out there, gotta go with what your gut says mate. I’m thinking of Costa but you just know he’ll get that yellow and a suspension. Another factor you have to thinkabout is, Ibra has been unlucky not to be in the points. He is world class though and won’t be out of the scoring charts for long. Oh and he plays us next and we always concede.

    Hello gents
I didn’t follow Watford’s past two matches and so need some clue as to how did they look. Capoue is my fourth mid in a 3-4-3

Obviously he can’t be amongst the points always. But he is a strong candidate for a fourth mid right?

My attackers cost me a lot in the form of Kun Costa and Lukaku

      Milburn says:

Hi nishant. I haven’t seen him the last 2 games either so I can’t give you a proper analysis on him but with Watford’s next 3 fixtures he’s definitely an viable option. He’s my 4th at the minute and if the extra funds allows you to get another big hitter in then I think it’s worth the punt.

      Hi Nishant,

Firstly, congratulations on your excellent points haul and overall rank, I could only dream of having a rank in the hundreds! I think you’ll be alright with Capoue, anyway – Watford still have some decent fixtures and, even then, Capoue managed to score against Man United anyway. You could do alot worse than have Kun, Costa and Lukaku up front on current form!

      • nishant says:

Cheers swirly. This season has been a fairy tail for me honestly.
Hope finally this season I will end up in the top 10k. Hundreds won’t last forever sad

      • chins says:

Just saw this and clicked on the link to check out Nishants team. I had a quick glance at the rank and thought “what the hell is Swirly talking about, this team / ranking is crap!”. And then i realized it had taken me to my team. I want to cry.

      RedVT says:

Hey nishant, I watched both of Watford’s last two matches and Capoue was largely anonymous. I wouldn’t want him as a 4th midfielder for the long term, but I’ll keep him as 1st sub as I’ve had him since the start and got him for 4.5 (thanks for the tip FF247!).

There really was no way he was going to keep up his crazy conversion rate of 4 goals with 5 total shots. For what it’s worth I’ve got Snodgrass as 4th mid and have beefed up my defense rather than going with another more expensive 4th mid. He’s not terribly more expensive than Capoue but you’re getting a player who is involved with almost everything Hull do and has a nice run of fixtures coming up.

      • nishant says:

        Agree Sir
Snodgrass provides a greater threat with set pieces too
Well I am waiting fur Costa to get his ban so that I can ship him out for a cheapie striker (Tekkers am thinking) and upgrade Capoue to a better one

        • RedVT says:

Sounds like a good plan nishant, hard to take Costa out with the form he’s in. I’m sure that 5th yellow card isn’t too far off though! I think Snodgrass should be on penalties now too if Mbokani continues to start over Hernandez.

      • Mitro says:

Once the dust settles capoue will be a 5th midfielder for most of our teams

my poorest GW thus far, dropped from 26K to 59K, only scored 39 points, few clean sheets on Sunday helped my GW.

Right now its no reason for panic I believe, I didn’t expect a big return as most of my attacking 7 played away from including two of my defense. Two player that do concern me is Rashford and Capoue.

    Any suggesstions?

      theswirly says:

I’d hold fire on any transfers until the internationals have been played. There’s not much buying and selling at the moment and so you would lose out on little to no value by doing anything at the moment, not to mention the fact that one of your players could get injured in the two-week period. When it does come to it, if the situation hasn’t changed, perhaps look at Rashford and one of your defenders as only one of the back three has got a good fixture.

      • charlcupido says:

thanks Swirly, yeah the plan is to hold off on the transfer until IB is completed. My immediate thought would be to change Rashford. He was woeful on Sunday. Perhaps Austin? I would idealy love to get Benteke in but cash is strapped.

I have not made any hits this season and plan to keep it that way.
