Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 15 FPL News: GW15 begins with Watford hosting Everton at lunchtime on Saturday. What are you having for lunch? Whatever it is, it’ll probably be more exciting than this will be. Sorry to start you off on a downer but we didn’t pick the televised fixtures. After that we have four 3pm games, the most notable of which, in terms of FPL, is probably Sanchez hosting Stoke. Saturday closes out with a Kun-less Man City visiting a clueless Leicester. Sunday begins with either Chelsea hammering West Brom or West Brom making our Sunday boring with a shutout. United and Spurs do battle after that, as do the Saints and ‘Boro. Klopp sees the week out when his lot look to hammer the Hammers

Evening guys, planning ahead for the next week. I need Costa, so do you think it´s worth to go minus 4 to do Defoe and Firmino to Costa and Phillips or an other midfielder under 6.1?

Current front 8: Barry, Firmino, Hazard, Sanchez, Siggy
    Defoe, Kane, Benteke

Is Origi the best replacement for Austin or any of these worth considering?

Iheanacho – limited game time but 2 good fixtures in next 3
Wilson – decent form but crap team
    Llorente – likewise
Carroll – great fixtures but a bit of a punt

      Short answer is probably yes.

If you haven’t got Siggy already then Llorente is probably the safest other option there.

Love how someone else is mentioning Carroll tho! I’ve already punted on him, and it’s not paid off so far. There’s always next week 😉

      • SAFs_hairdryer says:

I just have a feeling Carroll will be a good differential in the next few weeks. WHU have some cracking fixtures.

I have Siggy and Firminho so Have Pool and Swans covered. Probably just go with Origi but I’all be screwing when Carroll bags 3 next week!

        • banjomaker says:

West Ham have some really nice fixtures, hence why I punted. I was gutted not to see him start today. With them scoring a couple without him I’m concerned whether he’ll be starting now.

        • SAFs_hairdryer says:

I think they’re just easing him in considering his injury history. He could still get a few even from the bench against the teams they’re up against

To be honest all of these strikers are punts. You just got to guess which ones are right. Origi is in good form and Iheanacho’s stats are reasonably impressive.

Hey guys, I was talking earlier with Smash and nishant about Chelsea defensive cover and was wondering if anyone else had an opinion about it. Is Alonso at 6.3 really the best bet? Sure, he gets forward more than the others, but Azpi crushes him on BPS, is .1 cheaper (for now) and is Chelsea’s top scoring defender. And sideshow Bob Luiz is even cheaper at 6.1 and looks to be taking any free kick remotely close to goal. He had 3 good shooting chances from direct kicks today and is bound to get a couple goals if that stays the same, isn’t he? I can afford any of them, just trying to make the best choice.

And lastly, who would you ship first? Firmino or Koscielny? Looking to bring in Eriksen probably in midfield and Kosc needs to go as Arsenal can’t keep a clean sheet.

    Heaton Pickford
    Kosc Walker McAuley Holebas Amat
    Hazard Sanchez Siggy Firmino Fletcher
    Kane Costa Anichebe

    Hi all,
I’m considering Firmino to Siggy as I imagine a lot of others are as well. Did anyone see todays game? Did Firmino have any goal scoring opportunities or look a threat at all?

      RedVT says:

Hey db, I watched the whole match and the only thing that impressed me was that Firmino cut that silly looking top knot off his head and got a normal haircut. He’s way less dangerous in his new position and was often much further behind the other players who were attacking goal. He had a couple half chances but it seems that Mane has benefited the most without Coutinho out of the side. I’ve owned Firmino since GW1 and I’m shipping him for Eriksen I think (already have Siggy).
