Evening all, hope we are well. Just a question out if interest, how many players do we all have for this week and how many double game-weekers will you be hoping to field in GW31?
I have 8 this week. Or will have, anyway.

I’ll be playing 7 next week with a FT saved, the plan is to have 9 or 10 for the DGW without having to take too many hits, ATM a -8 could get me 10 for the DGW. The key to next week looks like being a good (c) pick and I’m feeling lucky.

When counting DGW players, are you all just counting players from the confirmed teams with a double in GW 31:
Man City | Man United | Hull | West Ham | Liverpool | Sunderland
…or are you including other player who might, such as Everton, too?
I’m actually counting from the confirmed teams, I think having 3 Man City players will be a good idea as they’ll still have multiple DGW’s left and having 3 Pool players will be a must as they play two of the current bottom 3 that GW. Even if more games are added I’ll still target 6 players from Citeh and Pool.
Hoping for 8 plus Mariappa (miracle required for him to play) this GW.
Set for minimum 9 DGW with a -4 hit.
Ok cool, just thought it was worth getting a quick straw poll on the situation. Looks like an average of 7-10 for this week and something similar in DGW players but with perhaps a few hits to achieve that.
But that’s from people who are on the ball and have planned accordingly so I expect a lot less from the more casual player. Could be a good few weeks for us all ahead.
8 for GW29, possibly 9 if Zaha pulls his finger out……of somewhere. Should have 9 for the double game-week. 10 if I play Colback over Hazard.

Everton v Palace: the game that was called off. Is the reschedule looking likely to be set in GW 31 or sometime else? It’s quite important planning wise…

Everton v Palace won’t happen in GW 31 due to Liverpool having a home match then. If Everton have a match it will be Newcastle v Everton.

In GW 31 Everton play Swansea. I thought you were just saying above that there’s a chance they’ll play Newcastle that week as well?
There is james, that’s Evertons other fixture other than the Palace one that still needs to be rescheduled.
Oh, I get it now. Liverpool and Everton won’t play at home at the same time due to “policing issues” (don’t know what this means but I’ve heard it used before, think it has something to do with security). Therefore Everton v Palace won’t happen, but since Everton has multiple fixtures that need re-scheduling they’ll most likely have one in GW 31, which must then be their other post-poned match; New v Eve.
Ahhhh I see, forgot they’re missing another game, sweet.
Surely they could have one on Tuesday and one on Wednesday?
Not sure EBC to be honest, It must have occured in the past with the FA Cup whereby one has played Sat at home and the other on Sunday I’m sure, but I know it stretches resources and messes up shifts for the police etc so that may still be the issue. Either way they need to announce it a minimum of 7 days in advance if they are playing either of them so they still have plenty of time but the sooner the better for us of course!
