Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 9 FPL News: Bournemouth hosting Spurs gets the game-week going for us, one would expect The Cherries to be done scoring for the season after dropping six on Hull last week That lunch time fixture is followed by six more at 3pm. The Gunners collect 3 points vs Boro, Burnley looks to pad Heaton’s save stats when they face Everton, Hull continues to pretend to be an EPL team when they face Stoke. In other action we see the EPL uncaring Foxes vs Palace, relegation bound Swansea bend over for Watford and West Ham continue climbing the table when they face Sunderland. In Saturday’s closing fixture, Liverpool will tangle with a more offensively inclined side in West Brom than the United side they played last GW.
Sunday sees two games to finish off the game-week. City look to practice their penalties vs Southampton and Chelsea tangle with United in what promises to be a bore fest, when Conte and Mourinho play a defensive chess game and protect their keepers like he is literally the King.

I did what i promised myself before the season no early transfers. Ibra, capoue and McAuley out for Cullum Wilson, Hazard and Pieters for a – 4. ?

Sorry if this has already been discussed but it seems like worrying times for Aguero owners. Pep seems to be stifling Kun from a FPL perspective anyway. Anyone thinking of just jumping ship before it sinks?

      Snookie Bear says:

Last time Kun went without scoring for some games, he scored five in one when everyone was ditching him. It’s not like Pep is playing him in midfield or he has become Rooney whole team haven’t managed to win in last 5 matches so no chance I am getting rid of him

      • specialK says:

At what point do you consider getting rid?

        • lukealike says:

I already ditched him Saturday night lol, I cant be arsed with the BS and crippling my team for him when he might be sat on the bench.
I can see it coming, Pep said the same bs about Hart. “He has a place at City, he has a future at City”, yes they do, if they do exactly what Pep wants. Some players can, some players cant, some players probably dont need to. And Kun falls in the last bracket, should one of the best strikers in the world change his game to suit a picky manager when he could just walk into any other team in the EPL and probably europe?
Kuns game time and how he is playing is definetly going to get impacted, and the yellow he got. Was the coincidence? No probably not, he is trying to change his game already.

        • Smash10 says:

He played 90 minutes. The first game he just got back from South America and had a slight injury. The second was a tactical decision away to the best side in Europe. I really don’t think there is anything in it.

        • lukealike says:

I think Pep has his heart set on Aubemyang tbh, like he did with Bravo. My guts says that anyway, and Im going to run with that. I would advise anyone else to take my advice, but I will risk it . Besides im always looking for any excuse to kick Kun out of my team laugh

      • DMC says:

Snookie – that’s correct, but things are different now. He has two double digits hauls and one GW with 9 pts so I’m sure he’ll still score enough but maybe not has much as what £ 13.0 would imply. He seems very low in what regards motivation. The problem with transferring him out is of course that you’d probably then need a WC or several hits to get him back when he starts hurting you, which will naturally happen at some point. Unless he gets really Peped…
So, what I’m saying here is maybe keep him, if you are one of the 43% owners, but don’t buy him just now.
In fact, this is the first time I see him being transferred out (-21 000) when healthy. Humm

Hey guys I hope you all had a good weekend, mine was a bit lame in terms of fantasy again but meh I will take it, 42 points. One assist is all I got (Lukaku C).

I see Bournemouth defence is trending at the moment, whos the best pick? Franics, Smith, someone else? And any thoughts only Callum Wilson, I jumped the gun a bit and ditched Kun for Wilson haha, now im rich smile, the Cherries have 3 pretty good fixtures so I can see Wilson grabbing a couple of goals.
And lastly, whats everyones thoughts on Matic as a fifth mid to sit on the bench? 5mil is a bit pricey but with so many internationals, rotations and other bs I think he is probabloy a good shout as a back up, if he keeps assisting as he is.

      Hi Lukealike!

I currently have Smith but unfortunately benched him in favour of Jagielka the gameweek just gone! My current starting defence is Walker, Holebas and Shawcross and so I can see Smith staying on the bench for this one, even with his opposition being Middlesbrough. Looking at their season so far, Bournemouth really don’t travel well – all of their best results have been at home – and I can’t see it being any different this gameweek. Sunderland at home in GW11 is definitely a tempting fixture though!

Depending how Capoue gets on this gameweek (he’s on his last chance in my team), I’m keeping an eye on Matic. He’s got some good points hauls recently and so is very tempting at just £5m. One of those players off the radar for many at the mo, I reckon.

      • lukealike says:

Hi Swirly, yea for 5mil he is tempting. Its either Capoue, Allen or Matic I reckon. With Matic probably going to be more regualarly getting the points I suspect. And yea I have probably missed the Bournemouth boat already, and im not convinced on their defence just yet, I have just been seeing it in a lot of my mates teams at the moment. Well fingers crossed Wilson pays off (my biggest differential I guess)

    Shawn says:

Hi lads, 40 points for me this week and I’ve tried my best. It’s still below average and that shows FPL is as competitive as EPL, if not more.

Please help me to close the gap within my ML, money and pride at stake. I’m thinking to ditch Antonio & Amat for Shaq & Holebas.

Have also been toying with Ibra (fixture) or Hazard(form). Just not too sure how to achieve it with the team I have. 2 FT & 0 ITB

    Neo says:

What would you guys do with this? 1FT 0ITB. I play 3-5-2

    A. Antonio to Stanislas (1.4 extra to upgrade defence next time)
    B. Antonio to Shaqiri (0.7 extra to upgrade defence next time)
    C. Williams to Daniels
