Today we look at some mid to lower price options and the effect that their moves will have in FPL terms. First up is Loic Remy swapping London clubs to join Benteke at Palace in a move that could provide a brilliant fantasy football option if he can stay fit. Then we move to Hull as they sign three players in one day and continue their Scottish revolution at the club (GP will be so pleased, what the hell happened to Hadrian’...[Read More]

MLS GW30 Tips Fantasy Major League Soccer

MLS GW30 Tips Fantasy Major League Soccer GW29 went off as many thought it would – which is odd, because the MLS is rarely ever predictable. Seattle and Portland won at home. Colorado earned a clean sheet and yet couldn’t score a goal to save their lives. Bruce Arena pulled out a road draw while hiding a key ‘injury’ in his squad. Frank Lampard got hurt again. And Jozy Altidore rose above his skill level to keep Toronto atop the Eastern Conference. Oh yeah, Landon Donovan scored too. All in all it was a pretty pedestrian set of affairs this past week. Do we dare hope for more of the same...[Read More]

New Signings – Fantasy Premier League 2016/17. Spurs, Stoke, Sunderland, West Brom. Part two of our look at the major Deadline Day signings includes one of the major transfers of the day as Everton and Spurs fought it out for Toon midfielder Moussa Sissoko – Spurs eventually won that race with just minutes left of the window. Daniel Levy also splashed the cash for French youngster Georges-Kevin Nkoudou. Mark Hughes was busy at Stoke as he completed loan deals for Wilfried Bony and Bruno Martins Indi as they attempt to lift themselves up the league. Sunderland continue to try and li...[Read More]

FPL Fixtures Analysis Gameweek 6

FPL Fixtures Analysis Gameweek 5 2016-17 Welcome to FPL Fixtures Analysis Gameweek 6 I have to admit, I was a bit nervous putting out last week’s article. Not only did I make the rookie mistake of making Everton my top pick (as a homer, I could’ve at least put them at #3), but I also made Watford my second pick, even though they had to face Man Utd over the weekend. Was I surprised that both teams had the ability to win 3-1 over their opponents? Not really. Am I ashamed that this is a bit of a humble brag? A little bit, but I’ll manage that shame with a grin. There are a lot of moving pieces i...[Read More]

New Signings – Fantasy Premier League 2016/17. Chelsea, Everton, Bournemouth, Hull, Leicester, West Ham, Boro Deadline Day was the most exciting for a long time and as usual deals were still being processed by the FA late on into the night. We’ll cover the main deadline day signings over the course of two articles, rather than blast you with minimal information and a whole host of names. In part one, we’ll cover the following – Chelsea made the headlines as Antonio Conte strengthened his defence, certainly in terms of numbers and options by re-signing David Luiz and acq...[Read More]

FF247 Site Team Game-week 5 FPL Tips Welcome to the FF247 Site Team Game-week 5 FPL Tips article. Well, that was fun while it lasted. Our rank took a proper beating last week unfortunately, so thank gawd our transfer of Costa worked otherwise we’d be in deep poo poo. We scored just 38pts in GW4 vs an average of 43, which saw us fall from a rank of 22,450 down to 78,944. There are very few highlights for us to be brag about – Costa was clearly the best performer with his 12pt return from a Sunday in Wales, while Baines chipped in with a clean sheet and two baps on Monday night at Su...[Read More]

Grab, Avoid or Bore Off!

Grab, Avoid or Bore off! Welcome to the another instalment of Grab, Avoid or Bore off for the 2016-17 season. As most of you know, every International Break the four horsemen of the Apocalypse…actually three, since I just ask the questions, well…come to think of it, two, since Kop is on vacation. However we weren’t about to do a Bore off one short, so we looked around came up a unanimous name (I asked no one, just decided on him) to replace Kop for this edition. So welcome in replacement Amigo, Gallant Pioneer. He brings legendary knowledge, mostly in other things, but who ca...[Read More]

New Signings – Fantasy Premier League 2016/17. Mustafi, Perez.

New Signings – Fantasy Premier League 2016/17. Mustafi, Perez With the transfer window coming to a close and the players off playing for their respective countries, it’s probably a good time to look at some recent signings that we haven’t covered yet. Arsenal, and more importantly Wenger, have finally loosened their purse strings and brought in two new players. These recruits include a much needed central defender in Shkrodan Mustafi and the striker/winger, Lucas Pérez. This is my first article so bear with me, now without further ado, here goes!
