Trends From The Top – A Look to Game-week 11
Trends From The Top- What Are The Leaders Doing? A Look to Game-week 11 Welcome to this week’s edition of Trends From the Top. What’s great about ‘trends’ is the fact that they are trends… trends that evolve, dissipate, and adapt. It’s hard to believe that just a couple weeks ago 100% of the top managers had Aguero and now, yet understandably, 0% of the leaders have him on their team. And while it’s always possible to have a bad gameweek, 100% of all the leaders had Sanchez on their team. What other trends will we see this week? Will they help provide us with insight for GW 1...[Read More]
Fantasy Football Pottys Predictions Gameweek 12
Fantasy Football Pottys Predictions Gameweek 12 Hello my fandabee dozee punters and once again its Competition time, its a brief article this week as I am pretty unwell and I need a block of sleep from somewhere but my lung pain is preventing this from happening but I ain’t no Darren “sicknote” Anderton so let’s plough on. Last weekend’s “Sunday Fireworks” display was a proper explosive affair with many of your selected bangers not even going off, damp were they? But one FF247 user certainly invested in three great sticks of dynamite and with 54.5 poin...[Read More]
Fantasy Football FF247 Team Game-week 12
Fantasy Football FF247 Team Game-week 12 Well, not exactly what we were looking for in game-week 11. We scored 53 points which was 3 points below the average. Our rank for the week was over 2 million and after those numbers there was no real doubt that we would see a red arrow. We proceeded to drop 124,910 spots in the overall from 483,140 to our new rank of 608,050. The tough season continues, but there is still plenty of time to climb in the overall to a respectable position. Onto a quick rundown of the week that was before we discuss our plans for the week ahead. In goal we had Boaz Myhill ...[Read More]
Captain Picks Fantasy Football Game-week 12
Captain Picks Fantasy Football Game-week 12 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16 Welcome to the world of captains for Game-week 12. I often find myself pondering the little things in life. Why do we scrutinise the insignificant? We have all the time in the world but we always claim to be too busy to clear that room or meet that friend or send that email or pay that bill. More important to all that though, I have devoted most of my Sunday to working out why we complain when there are no decent captain picks and yet having too many seems just as bad. We seem these days, via a combination of fi...[Read More]
Fantasy Football Tips Game-week 12
Fantasy Football Tips Game-week 12 Back in the early days of fantasy football the internet was in it’s infancy and actually the most popular games were newspaper led and you had to fill in a form, cut it out, send it off, hope it arrived and then wait for Monday’s edition to see how your team fared. Of course you had to figure that out for yourself as they would simply list the players scores and if you were lucky they would publish the top 10 managers for that week. Thankfully things have moved on a bit. Sort of. Once the internet got a hold of fantasy football you started to see ...[Read More]
Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 11
Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 11 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16 GW11 is live! What better way to kick-off our Halloween fixtures than two teams dressed up? Chelsea as a shell of themselves and Liverpool as a has been from the 80’s. That small affair is followed by full out costume party with 12 teams playing at three o’clock. The Silver Fox will be dressed as a ladies’ man and LVG as blind woman’s man, when Palace take on United. The Citizens will be dressed as empty seats and Norwich as a lamb being led to slaughter. In other action we see Newcastl...[Read More]
Kops Fantasy Football Tips Game-week 11
Kops Fantasy Football Tips Game-week 11 Another game-week another introduction to write! If you haven’t worked it out by now I don’t particularly enjoy writing the introduction every week, so much so that I might just start reviewing films, TV shows or whatever else tickles my fancy in any given week, and I’m even open to suggestions. But for now I’d best stick to FPL! So let me make a number of broad observations based on the opening 10 game-weeks. At the back, the old reliables are coming to the fore with City, Arsenal & West Brom having multiple entries in the top 10 scoring defenders. ...[Read More]
Team Talk Fantasy Football Game-week 11
Team Talk Fantasy Football GW11 Welcome to GW11 and while it’s always exciting to dream about what our new game-week will bring, it’s also with a sense of sadness with which this article is brought to you. For we have lost a dear friend. A fun character, always entertaining, one who provided laughs and joy and brought fun to our lives. “They were singing my name three weeks ago and they’ll be singing it again in three weeks time.” Oooops, some things you should keep to yourself Tim Sherwood, my friend. Let’s hope he’s back soon for the league is a lot ...[Read More]
