Who are you? Who are you? Fantasy manager profiles Here at FF247 towers we’ve often wondered what driving forces skulk behind a comment or a rate my team reply, do we really know the mindset and the persona of the people we are conversing with?! To find the answers to these questions we have lured some regulars from out of their caves and got them to endure a simple Q&A session. Hopefully this will help us to uncover whether each member can be viewed as a ‘fellow sports enthusiast’, ‘colleague’, ‘fantasy friend’, ‘internet troll’ or ind...[Read More]

Grab, Avoid or Bore Off!
Grab, Avoid or Bore Off! To help you decide or just confuse you a bit more, we have asked 3 of our writers to pass judgment on what players you would do well to pick up and what players are better left out of the fray. We hope this is a simple straight forward formula that can assist you in your decision making as we ride out this International Break. I avoided including players like Siggy, Di Maria or Costa as there is really no point. There seems to be overwhelming consensus on these cats. Grab – You need this player on your squad. On the Def/Keeper categories if they select Grab, they will ...[Read More]

Fantasy Football FF247 Team Gameweek 7
Fantasy Football FF247 Team Gameweek 7 GW6 turned out pretty well in the end as we recorded an above average score of 52pts. Like many teams, our star-studded midfield were useless – Sterling, Di Maria, Fabregas and Sigurdsson provided just 9pts between them – it was certainly one of those strange FPL weeks! Captain Costa did his thing, ably supported by Aguero – both notching a goal, while keeper Mannone and defenders Wilson and Taylor all recorded clean sheets. We weren’t alone in being let down by the Southampton defence – that was our home banker for a clean s...[Read More]
Team Talk Fantasy Football GW7
Team Talk Fantasy Football GW7 Welcome to GW7 and you best make sure you enjoy it as it’s the last one you’re gonna get for a fortnight, due to another snooze-fuelled international break. Its a short, sharp gameweek, no early game on Saturday and all over on Sunday afternoon, so all our fun and games and points and excitement and tension and relief and emotion will be like one large 24 hour booze binge….until we wake up Monday with that dull, nagging feeling that we have nothing to look forward to for soooooo long. Right, let’s get down to it. Saturday 3pm – Hull ...[Read More]
Kops Fantasy Football Tips Game-week 7
Kops Fantasy Football Tips Game-week 7 – Differentials The last two game-weeks have proved rather frustrating for the vast majority of fantasy managers with the average score in each of these weeks being a paltry 36 & 38, although if you managed to pick up a couple of decent scores in these game-weeks you are likely to have made significant advances up the overall rankings as well as in your mini-leagues. Low scoring game-weeks have a tendency to leave some fantasy managers with itchy fingers as they chase those highly addictive points and with big hitters such as Ramsey & Roon...[Read More]
