The Boot Room – Rate My Team GW 5 – FPL Fantasy Football Premier League

Photo-02-01-2014-11-40-06-300x214 Game-week 4 is over and the International Break is under way, for many (including the FF247 team) this means wildcard time. So if you are looking for a bit of help on your new squad or simply feel the need to discuss any future transfers, you have come to the right place. We will also be receiving managers in need of a shoulder to cry on. Because frankly, after this 4 week span a tear or two is understandable.

So please feel free as ever, to post your thoughts, questions and feelings about whatever you want to, but in particular if you would like others to take a look at your team ahead of GW5 and beyond and offer their opinions. Please post or link it below and we are sure you will get plenty of feedback. Some of which may actually be constructive, but we can’t promise anything!

    • wild card is active!

    • I’d go without the Swansea double and downgrade one from Gomis/Ayew to pump more money into your bench.

      Mccarthy and now Myhills spot will be under threat from the returning Speroni and WBA’s new signing Lindegaard so maybe you can get away with keeping one but to have both GKs under threat is playing with fire.

      Sagna and Targetts places will also be under threat in the coming weeks with Bertrand and Zaba leta coming back from injury and with Oxford being rotated it could make for a bench short of options so I’d pick up another nailed on starter for at least 4.5.

        • Hmmm, I like the Redmond pick as a fifth mid, I’m really not sure on Romero and Olsson, I admittedly know little of Navas who’s came as part of the De Gea deal and Johnny Evans should replace either Mcauley or Olsson at the CB position, maybe play it safe and switch Olsson to a nailed on starter that can rotate with Ward as his next two fixtures are pretty tough on paper.

    • I’d go Mahrez personally. Palace got some tough games coming up and Bolasie is back.

  5. Is anyone here considering Wisdom of Norwich? Costs 4.3, has BOU next and could take over th RB spot permanently.

    Thought he was unfairly singled out by Motd for the third goal; there were no other defenders within 10 yards!!!
