Forgot about the deadline because of UCL. Missed CHI players, kept placeholders – wanted to see the lineup and put. Anyway, now I have to pick a SGW player.

If you have money then Seattle is your best bet imo. Ruidaz Lodeiro and crew could easily outscore most of the dgw players. For me I’m thinking of subbing Frei for Bush. My H2H is dead level at 71-71 today.

Yes, I have money (11m in bank+4m replacing the scrub) and 1 spot for a Mid / Fwd (have 6 attackers on pitch and two 4m scrub).
Vela, Lodeiro, any other SEA player came to my mind – but not able to select. Thought of Kei Kamara as a punt….but that can be the worse punt of the season. smile

For the first time this season I’m actually short of budget for the players I want this week.

I have got Morrow,Lundquist and 1 pointer Morris who is unlikely to play the next game as he has dona a hammy. I have a scrub defender and scrub midfielder and if I sell the defender I have options to consider for 6.8. Thinking Lovitz of Montreal at home against the Revs,or Salinas of the Earthquakes at home to Chicago.
So do I stick with M & L or switch to one of the others and leave the other 2 to fight out the last scrub replacement place out?

I love this wildcard and in gameweek transfers, but not the byes and frequent DGW. It takes some getting used to and I thing different to FPL is that you cannot set a forget players as some have 2 week byes!

@Sorry Kruz, just seeing this, I am paying just enough attention to mls that I could have probably answered. What did you end up going with? Lovitz and Salinas did ok, in the end it looks like Lundquist did ok.

      • Kruzcampo says:

        Hi Mito
Went for Lovitz in the end and Lundquist got subbed on. Poz got a red and no more points,Smith & Atuesta didn’t play, but I got to 116 points with 3 including captain still to play!

        • @Kruz, 116 is not bad at all, I have 4 maybe 5 depends how much he scores otherwise I will get Zavaleta or Hee Hee from the bench. Think I have 130 so doing well myself this week. Hopefully Vela punishes anyone who dared captain someone else this week. I didn’t mind the Poz red, even though I own him, I figured people who went away from Vela would be on Lodeiro or Poz. When he got the red I looked at my ranking and I believe I dropped six spots for the week rank.

        • Kruzcampo says:

I have 5 to play including Vela as Captain..I forgot Miller on the bench and discounted Atuesta as he is down as injured and uncertain. How long does Poz get for his red? Probably Maxi for him and Heber for Morris next week.

Fixed now. Problem is that they are in the process of making changes even during the season – they should do it before or during transition from Spring to Fall.

They are doing all possible things to attract more people (from USA, Canada), I guess still result is not positive. I believe most of the Fantasy players come from Oriental region (due to population) – China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, India, middle-east and these regions have approx. 12 hours time difference with USA. The rollover change rules of MLS make it difficult for these set to follow each and every match and thus participation is less.

This week in MLS look like a real lottery – so many options and none of the options are dominant. The DGW teams (NYRB, VAN) are not great either without a clean pick at any position. I am struggling to pick my 14. Among SGW players, Vela is the only player I have picked blindly.

@GM, the Red Bulls are a mare to pick in a double, because they rotate a lot, think they even rotated their keeper last double. It is too bad that they make it so difficult, because they have nice fixtures for this double. Vancouver just played a double and have had to do a lot of travelling so I expect they could rotate a lot in this one. Will still probably a pick a player or two from each side and probably stick them on the bench and have them sub in if they do well. Pozuelo would have been an easy pick along with Vela this week if he didn’t get a red last game. Vela is the obvious pick, but think two more from LAFC is probably the way to go, I am still going with one or two from Toronto and possibly one or two from Philly. That should get me to 10-11 guys in my 15, 2 more will be scrubs and will leave about 2-3 spots to decide on for my team.

Apart from the teams you’ve already mentioned NYRB, LAFC, TOR and PHI, I’m looking at Orlando for a couple of subs. They have a decent chance at home to Galaxy, there shouldn’t be too many surprises in the lineup, and they play early which gives a chance to upgrade a scrub if they do poorly.
