Hello everyone and welcome to UEFA Champions League Fantasy Football 2019/20 Semi-Final and Final.
Right then, forget that Scottish nonsense absolutely no nonsense this time as we have little time to waste, this one will be over in the blink of an eyelid. No more dragging GW’s out over weeks and months for the Champions League, this is bish-bash-bosh at its best. Or worst.
If you’ve got this far with it you probably don’t need us to tell you what the craic is with sub and capo changes or how to order your bench. If you still do, then quite frankly… tough sh*t :rofl:
In short we have two semis and a final, starting on Tuesday and concluding on Sunday.
So let’s crack on with the very little that you do really need to know this week…
Semi-finals
Deadline
TUESDAY 18th AUGUST 8PM GMT
Teamsheets will be out about an hour prior to this. Simples.
Transfers
You get 5 of them. Simples.
The Fixtures – SEMIS
The fixtures are split over two days, as follows:
Subs
We can still make changes between the two. The second deadline is 8pm on Wednesday at kick off, as usual. Simples.
Captain

How many players from each team?
This increases to 6 per team for the semis. Simples.
The Final

SUNDAY 23rd AUGUST 8PM GMT

Stop asking stupid questions. No subs or capo changes, obviously.

This one is the usual open air league that all and sundry are welcome to join; there are over 1000 people in it. We have no idea who most of them are!

GK choice is the easiest. With Navas out, Neuer/Rico is the obvious choice and for the (predictable) final you’ve only got 4.4 on the bench. This is my semi final choice.

Looks pretty good to me Bees. You’ve got almost all of my onfield team after my WC. You have the luxury now of saving the wild card in case we get something like a horror of OL v LEI final ! Just check tonight and have some WC choices prepared in case for a last minute (hour) change if the PSG line throws a curveball

Looks great. Maybe that’s because it’s very similar to mine
GK of Rico/Neuer is a delight for us because as well as playing, we’ll bench very little money on the final.
In defence, I’ve gone for an extra BAY and cheapo Kehrer, again with a view to the final where I’ll have a 3-4-3 with 3-2-2 of those being Bayern.
Mid I’ve also got Aouer, Sabitzer and Gnabry and I’ll decide on the other two when I see the lineup. DiMaria is pretty nailed on to be included in my team.
Personally I’ve gone for Neymar rather than Mbappe but Neymar did play the whole 90 in the last game so it could be his turn to be subbed.

Also, I am not too bothered about my team selection for the final at the moment, as I still have ‘Limitless’ up my sleeve.
The funniest thing is that just realised I am not in the Regs league :laugh2: I have no idea what the heck happened there :slaphead:
