Hello everyone and welcome to UEFA Champions League Fantasy Football 2019/20 Semi-Final and Final.
Right then, forget that Scottish nonsense absolutely no nonsense this time as we have little time to waste, this one will be over in the blink of an eyelid. No more dragging GW’s out over weeks and months for the Champions League, this is bish-bash-bosh at its best. Or worst.
If you’ve got this far with it you probably don’t need us to tell you what the craic is with sub and capo changes or how to order your bench. If you still do, then quite frankly… tough sh*t :rofl:
In short we have two semis and a final, starting on Tuesday and concluding on Sunday.
So let’s crack on with the very little that you do really need to know this week…
Semi-finals
Deadline
TUESDAY 18th AUGUST 8PM GMT
Teamsheets will be out about an hour prior to this. Simples.
Transfers
You get 5 of them. Simples.
The Fixtures – SEMIS
The fixtures are split over two days, as follows:
Subs
We can still make changes between the two. The second deadline is 8pm on Wednesday at kick off, as usual. Simples.
Captain

How many players from each team?
This increases to 6 per team for the semis. Simples.
The Final

SUNDAY 23rd AUGUST 8PM GMT

Stop asking stupid questions. No subs or capo changes, obviously.

This one is the usual open air league that all and sundry are welcome to join; there are over 1000 people in it. We have no idea who most of them are!

Bees, I used it ages ago, the limitless as well. Had 5 eliminated players and just took one hit for Neuer.

Bigpopz, you have 5 free transfers to use. That can go for the 4 eliminated players on the pitch plus one from the bench. I would leave the limitless for the final.

I think I will stand firm and save my WC for the final, it will just mean I am playing with 14 players including Sarabia who is likely to find the bench.
Whilst I would love to watch a good Bayern/PSG final I think I need to hope for a Leipzeg/Lyon one to have this tactic really pay off.
If by some chance it does become LEI v LYO final that will be a stroke of genius
