Harry & Lloyd’s Predictions Competition

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW12

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW12 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW12. The past weekend saw the top two teams, Liverpool and Man City, make dramatic comebacks. Both were both 1-0 down at half time to Southampton and Aston Villa but by the 90th minute Man City were winning and Mane was just about to score the 94th minute winner against Villa. Elsewhere, there was drama in Everton as we saw Son get sent off and then rescinded yesterday for a tackle (that he didn’t make) on Andre Gomes which left the Portuguese midfielder with a dislocated ankle fracture. It was a very nasty looking injury and I know all of us here at FF247 wish him a speedy recovery. There were plenty of points to give out in the H&L offices as our winner got 15 points with 2nd pla...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW11

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW11 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW11. Another dull week with no real stand-out results. Leicester went to St Mary’s and scored 9 just as many had predicted and Chelsea put 4 past Burnley before their much-expected consolation double, just as the masses had envisaged. Meanwhile back in the real world, there was the usual smattering of 1-1’s, 2-1’s and 2-2’s. VAR was once again on-hand to ruin games and celebrations up and down the country as acca’s came in… and out again. Over here we keep chugging away, top of the class this week was… our very own Rosco who won it this week with 16 pts coming from 4 correct scores and 4 correct results. Swirly followed suit with 14 inittowinit ...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW10

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW10 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW10. The past weekend saw one or two surprises especially with Sheffield Utd beating Arsenal 1-0, Chelsea only scoring once against Newcastle and Spurs drawing 1-1 with Watford. It was business as usual for the likes of Man City who won 2-0 over Crystal Palace and Leicester who won 2-1 vs Burnley. Liverpool didn’t extend their winning run to 18 matches as a controversial VAR dominated game saw them draw 1-1 with Man United. These results all led to a relatively low scoring week both in FPL and in the H&L office with the winner only getting 12 points. This week’s winner was decided by the minute of the first goal scored. MDB and Hammerfan both got 12 points but MBD’...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW9

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW9 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW9. We owe you two winners, as we dropped a ball in GW7 and didn’t announce one, and so here are the results from both GW’s 7 & 8; GW7 It was a high scoring game-week with a mammoth 17pts the requirement for top-spot. skybluestan came so close with a more than respectable 16pts, closely pushed by mahelmy who finished with 15pts. However, both ultimately fell short as PM scooped the top spot with that very impressive 17pts. GW8 Our very own DMC took top-spot with 11pts this week – its a fix, I hear you cry, I’ll admit I’d be suspicious had our usual bean-counter not have handed his usual responsibility to Matt so it’s all legit and above board, I ca...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW8

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW8 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW8. ‘I got a confession to make, I’m a fool…’ But you knew that already. Basically, what we are saying is that we dropped a ball this week and due to a slight mis-understanding we haven’t actually counted up the winners from GW7! Delaying the article and therefore the chance to post predictions wasn’t an option so we have decided to crack on with this week’s comp and we promise you two winners will be announced next week. As you were… THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… Scoring couldn’t be simpler: Correct Score = 3 points Correct result = 1 point Correct First Goalscorer of the game-week = 5 points (to clarify this is who you think will s...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW7

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW7 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW7. Other than the Man City demolition job, GW7 ended with a largely predictable set of results. Arsenal and Bournemouth kept things interesting with their three goals but other than that it was draws, 2-0’s and 2-1’s. As such, this lead to a relatively high scoring game week with 13pts required to take top spot. Site favourite, Gee Gee betting,  pub-goer Silvers took a moment away from propping up his local to take those 13pts… we look forward to seeing him take his FF247 t-shirt on a tour of his local hostelries. Second place was shared with both Goal Machine and OddDane with 11pts, Frenchie picking up a respectable 10pts coming a close third. And so; Many Congratulat...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW6

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW6 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW6 GW5 was a difficult one for predictions and so it proved with PM winning it with just 9 pts with what is probably the lowest score ever for a victor. (It probably isn’t, but we couldn’t be bothered to check!) Jamie MC, Giggy and our own Rosco deserve honorable mentions with 8 pts. Sweetbluetoffee’s 7 pts were enough to achieve the summit and is now our new leader. And so; Many Congratulations to PM. Please email us here; contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk to claim your prize. THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… Scoring couldn’t be simpler: Correct Score = 3 points Correct result = 1 point Correct First Goalscorer of the game-week = (Points are awarded on an ‘either/or...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW5

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW5 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW5. All things were normal going into the international break with Liverpool and City grabbing big wins and the rest of the league dropping points! Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs all grabbed a single point with the NLD being a 2-2 draw, Man Utd drawing 1-1 with Southampton and Chelsea continuing the Frank Lampard story with yet another week without a win by drawing 2-2 with newly promoted side Sheffield Utd. These were the biggest results over the weekend with the rest not being too much of a surprise. The lack of surprise saw a high score in Harry and Lloyd’s shop with Silvers and LittleRedLacazette both in first place on 17 points. Silvers being there thanks to predicting th...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW4

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW4 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW4. Last weekend saw some shocks and upsets with two of the big boys losing as Man United went down 2-1 to Palace and Spurs lost 1-0 to Newcastle. These results were definitely not on the cards with pretty much everyone predicting the games going the other way. It was a first Premier League win for Chelsea manager and legend Frank Lampard after his team came out on top in the 3-2 win over Norwich. There was regular service from Liverpool and Man City as both ran out 3-1 victors over Arsenal and Bournemouth. These results saw a fairly low scoring week with no one getting the first goalscorer correct and only 3 people getting into double-digit points. In first place this week was Frenchie ...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW3

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW3 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW3. Last week saw the FPL world return to normal and remind us all just how much of a cruel mistress she really is! There was lots of goals scored with only two teams keeping a clean sheet. Those teams being Everton and Sheffield United, with both winning by a scoreline of 1-0. Liverpool managed to sneak past Southampton after Adrian showed just why he is a really just a reserve goalkeeper by gifting Danny Ings a goal. Arsenal were the only other big team to pick up all three points by getting a 2-1 win over Burnley to kick off GW2. The other top teams Chelsea, Man United, City and Spurs all ended their games with a single point. Lacazette was the first goalscorer this week and was corre...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW2

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW2 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW2. If there is one thing predictable about the Premier League it’s that it’s that it’s not that predictable, unless of course, your name is DenPerryDidIt in which case it is. Make sense? No me either. What was predictable, was that Liverpool would concede when so many of us were starting the season rocking double pool at the back, that Man City would smash a load of goals past the Hammers and that Harry Kane would score in August – although that one was looking iffy for a while there. What was unpredictable was that Man Utd would destroy Frank Lampard’s Chelsea so convincingly, even the most Die-hard Red Devil could not have hoped for such as scoreline. Els...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW1

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW1 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW1. It’s been a long summer, but like FPL we’re back for what will be our third season of our Premier League Predictions competition. Last season more than 100 of you took part and we’d like to thank each and every one of you for your efforts. This year, much like last, the goal will be to see if you have what it takes to beat DenPerryDidIt. Whilst we still have no idea where the name comes from, there’s no denying that DenPerry knows a thing or two when it comes to predicting results in the Premier League. To win the competition once is tough, but to do it twice on the bounce shows the type of skill set that would have bookies up and down the country quaking in their boots. If you’ve played before you ...[Read More]
