FF247 Site Team News GW30

FF247 Site Team News GW30 Factory settings restored Welcome to FF247 Site Team News GW30 Three green arrows on the bounce was lovely while it lasted. Losing those three weeks of progress in one fell swoop, however, is a fairly bitter pill to swallow. Where did it all go wrong? Pretty much everywhere. Only three of our eleven registered a return — Gabriel (11), Semenyo (7) and KDH (9). Thanks, lads. Unfortunately the rest of your teammates decided to sit this one out. Our keeper didn’t turn up, his deputy didn’t exactly inspire confidence, but at least they managed something. That’s more than can be said for VVD, Keane and Mbeumo, who combined for a grand total of 3pts between them. Generous. The rest of our sorry squad of misfits chipped in with the bare minimum. Rice was the only other pl...[Read More]

FF247 Site Team News GW29

FF247 Site Team News GW29 Welcome to FF247 Site Team News GW29 Our Gameweek 28 Result 4 goals and 6 assists across the team saw us to a reasonably healthy 72 points, 19 above the average. Captain Haaland didn’t make it and unfortunately we went with Thiago rather than Ekitike as the vice. All of this contributed to our 3rd green arrow on the trot, with a 200k+ jump upwards towards some semblance of respectability. Which admittedly is still a way off this season! We have 1.5m in the bank and 1 free transfer to use ahead of GW29. Let’s go see what was decided…. Our GW29 Transfer(s) – HELD For now we have decided to hold our transfer. We have Haaland and Rice on the watch list with yellow flags. If the former doesn’t make it we are unlikely to do anything other than let the ...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW29

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW29 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW29 With the quick turnaround, it’s our usual excuse and apologies — you’ll all have to wait just a little longer for the results! After some fairly unexpected outcomes at the weekend, I’m very interested to see how that’s shaken up the scoring — and I suspect many of you are too. Standout results included Wolves grabbing a 2–0 win over the Villans, Liverpool sticking five past the Hammers, and — much to my personal annoyance (as I was in attendance) — the Toffees getting the better of the Toon. I hate to admit it, but Pickford is actually canny decent… tiny arms and all. That was Saturday’s chaos. Sunday, on the other hand, was oddly predictable. The classic 2–1 is often the most commonly predicted sc...[Read More]

FF247 Site Team News GW28

FF247 Site Team News GW28 DEFCON Monsters Welcome to FF247 Site Team News GW28 DEFCON contributions have dominated conversations on X in recent weeks. We fall firmly into the “take the points and say thank you” camp. This week we were the grateful recipients of no fewer than four bonus pairs — Semenyo, KDH, Rice and Bowen all hitting their respective thresholds. Bonus. Literally. Elsewhere, James somehow emerged with a clean sheet despite Chelsea losing theirs, and a trio of sixes from our captain (doubled to 12), Hill and Boomo meant it was, all things considered, a perfectly respectable week. In the end, only three of our eleven blanked. 52 points was seven above the average and enough for another green arrow. We climb from 2,123,375 to 1,963,779. We’re clearly not winning the league thi...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW28

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW28 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW28 Been a busy, busy week for the Harry and Lloyd men so we apologise for the later posting of this article but we have still managed to get it to you in time. Unfortunately we still have not been able to get to the results but we will get them to you as soon as things settle. Keep predicting for GW28! THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… scoring couldn’t be much simpler: • Correct Score —> 3 points; • Correct Result —> 1 point; and • Correct First Goalscorer of the Gameweek —> 5 points. To clarify, this is who you think will score the first goal of the entire Gameweek, not just in any given match that you choose to pick yourself! Points above are awarded on an ‘either / or’ basis, so you’ll either sc...[Read More]

FF247 Site Team News GW27

FF247 Site Team News GW27 It’s all a bit meh! Welcome to FF247 Site Team News GW27. We got a respectable 65 points this week. This was just above the 58 pt average so we did get a tiny 50k green arrow and now sit at 2,123,375. Great! Captain Gabriel didn’t hit the heights we were hoping for but atleast we didn’t burn our Triple Captain on him. Hill stuck on our bench with 9 points hurts so we will just ignore it. Semenyo and Rice carried the team with 14 points each so we tip our caps at them. Haaland, Bowen and Mbeumo chipped in with 5, 5 and 6 respectively but the rest of our miserable lot for 1s and 2s. Our Gameweek 27 Result We have £0.9 in the bank and 1 free transfer to use ahead of GW27. Let’s go see what was decided…. Our GW27 Transfer(s) We will keep it simple. W...[Read More]
