FPL Captain Picks GW36 Welcome to FPL Captain Picks GW36 Rosco — Chris Wood v Leicester (H) Leicester City aren’t the worst team in the Premier League – but that’s hardly a glowing endorsement. That dubious honour belongs to Southampton, who have been so poor this season that if they fail to collect another point (and that’s entirely plausible), they’ll match the league’s lowest-ever total: Derby County’s infamous 11-point campaign in 2007/08. But back to Leicester. Their game week 35 win over Southampton might have felt like a turning point, but let’s not get carried away – it was their first win since game week 23. That’s a 12-game stretch featuring 11 losses and just one draw. Dire. Which brings us to Nottingham Forest, who host Leicester in what will be one of the Foxes’ fi...[Read More]
Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW36 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW36. Like London buses, they are never there on time and then they all come at once! We are back with a triple whammy of results for you all. We left you in suspense for the last few weeks due to a mix of quick turnarounds, technical faults and just all-round busy lives! You will be eager to know have you won a coveted FF247 pen so I won’t ramble. The first set of results is way back in GW33, where we actually had a very high scoring week. 12 managers getting into the double digits and 4 of the top 5 getting the FGS correct. However, there were three clear people on the podium with Inittowinnit in 3rd on 13 points, 2nd place was Pjlill on 15 points but on top of the pile was GoalMachine on a whop...[Read More]

FF247 Site Team News GW35 Welcome to FF247 Site Team GW35 Our Gameweek 34 Result We wielded the Free Hit last week, with mixed results. We aren’t quite sure what to make of our 70 points from it. Clearly we will have all had better ones in the past, but it is all relative. Prior to the Forest game we had a GW rank of about 1m, which is always ok, along with a green arrow (5th in a row) and an overall rank jump of about 170k. Our Forest boys themselves did bugger all, and it remains to be seen what that late Wissa goal did to our overall standing. In the interests of getting the article out, and a Friday evening deadline looming, we aren’t hanging around to find out. As for the rest, Wolves did the heavy lifting for us, and even their bloke on the bench did better than most of o...[Read More]
Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW35 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW35 No results this week with the turnaround being so tight. We’ll post up a double-result article next week and hopefully it’ll be back to normal for the remainder of the season now that all the doubles are finally out of the way! THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… scoring couldn’t be much simpler: • Correct Score —> 3 points; • Correct Result —> 1 point; and • Correct First Goalscorer of the Gameweek —> 5 points. To clarify, this is who you think will score the first goal of the entire Gameweek, not just in any given match that you choose to pick yourself! Points above are awarded on an ‘either / or’ basis, so you’ll either score 3 points for a Correct Score or just 1 point for a Correc...[Read More]

FF247 Site Team Gameweek 34 Are we the baddies goodies? Welcome to FF247 Site Team Gameweek 34 Have we finally found a bit of form at just the right time? Gameweek 33 blessed us with a not unreasonable 82 points, which was well above the average and lifted us to 1,391,219 overall – putting up FOUR consecutive green arrows in the process – and to a place which is our highest rank since Gameweek 6 – wow, that last stat is very scary. Anyway, an already-successful Assistant Manager chip was supplemented with 18 points from Pep Guardiola this week and with his new striker Omar Marmoush only putting up 4 points across 180 minutes and Josko Gvardiol (7) (a clean sheet one game and booked the next), we’re not sure how we feel about Manchester City in all honesty so we̵...[Read More]
Fantasy Football Captain Picks Gameweek 34 Welcome to Fantasy Football Captain Picks Gameweek 34 Kop — Salah vs. Spurs (H) Mo Salah, Mo Salah, Mo Salah, running down the wing!’ ‘Salah, la, la, la, la, la, the Egyptian King!’ 27 goals, 18 assists and counting. Salah is well on his way to winning another PFA player of the year award. All going well, he should have another Premier League winner’s medal come 18:30 on Sunday evening. Admittedly, the goals and assists have somewhat dried up in recent weeks with just one assist in his last four games. This has coincided with a dip in form from the majority of his teammates as well. He has shown signs of a return to form and was unlucky not to score against Leicester, registering seven shots on goal. Apparently Liverpool are stum...[Read More]
Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW34 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW34 We had a pretty underwhelming Double Gameweek for most managers last week with the majority of the “popular” picks not returning. Or atleast they didn’t return massive scores! City got a last minute win to probably secure Champions League football thanks to Nunes getting his first League goal assisted by Doku… hands up if you had either of those this week? Arsenal pretty much officially lost the title with Saliba handing the ball to Mateta who grabbed a draw for Palace. Elsewhere it was so so. We don’t have the results for H&L this week due to life getting in the way so much like GW34 and how it will have blank fixtures, we have a blank results art...[Read More]
