FPL Live Match Chat Double Gameweek 34

FPL Live Match Chat Double Gameweek 34 Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Double Gameweek 34 What we have right here is a strange ‘ol game-week. Thirteen games, six teams play twice, it’s interrupted by the FA Cup semis, there are more games on Sunday and Wednesday than there are on Saturday, three single GW teams don’t play until midweek, and two of those go on Thursday after all of the DGW teams are done and will barely just get finished before GW35 begins. Rather than typing the lot out, that nobody either wants or needs to read anyway, here they all are in a pretty picture instead…. The games in full… Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and s...[Read More]

Fantasy Football 247 Site Team Double Gameweek 34

Fantasy Football 247 Site Team Double Gameweek 34 The Haves and The Have Nots Welcome to FF247 Site Team for DOUBLE GAMEWEEK 34 (woop and other such exclamations of joy). Today’s title refers to the match at Stamford Bridge this past Monday evening. No we’re not talking about Madueke and Jackson when it comes to penalties, rather those who have Cole Palmer – Young Player of The Year (Trademark) in their FPL team and those who, sadly for them, don’t. 26 (TWENTY SIX – for those of the videprinter lexicon) FPL points in one match is sensational. Taking his season to an immense 208 FPL points which can only be claimed to be equalled (by Ollie Watkins) and his 20 league goals can only be matched, not beaten, by one player – Erling Haaland. We had the Chelsea ...[Read More]

Inside The Mind Of An FPL Player Double Gameweek 34

Inside The Mind Of An FPL Player Double Gameweek 34 Welcome to Inside The Mind Of An FPL Player Double Gameweek 34. The first of two double game-weeks looms, and therefore so do numerous difficult decisions. Many will still have chips to burn, that they have sat on patiently for weeks such as these. Others will have nothing left, other than the odd free transfer to utilise. Either scenario creates its challenges, as we look at how best to balance our teams between the lure of a DGW and the sensibility of perhaps not chasing one. We have decided to turn to the team and ask them to tell us how they intend to attack this one, be it with chips or simply some sort of reckless abandon. Here is what they said… Swirly Inside my mind?! That is brave, there’s a lot going on in there R...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions DGW34

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions DGW34 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions DGW34 Sunday’s results were very unexpected, you would think with those oddities (I’m looking squarely at you Arsenal and Liverpool!) that this would have been a low-scoring week, but it is not! Taking third place with a not so unlucky 13pts we have SomH3i, just pipped to second by Mfon3667 and Erry Ben Canaan who both picked up 14-pointers. However, out in front is our very own Gear with a solid 16pts. Tidy. Another good week for FGS predictions with 21 of you guessing correctly. I also managed that feat, taking my FGS to 17. Probably the only thing keeping my spot at the top of the overall league… for now. Many congratulations to Gear! Please email us here: contact@f...[Read More]

Fantasy Football 247 Site Team News Gameweek 33

Fantasy Football 247 Site Team News Gameweek 33 The rollercoaster ride continues Welcome to FF247 Site Team GW33 Our yo-yo season continues as another bad week sees us with our second red arrow on the bounce. 50 points was sadly 6 below the average and we slipped from 1337 to 3145. At such a high overall rank these frequent highs and lows seem to come with the territory, but rather than bring us down, the red arrows only serve to make the green arrows more pleasing. With Foden failing to make it off the City bench, we were reliant on Zabarnyi off our bench, sadly his 1-point return was not the only one in our back line with both Virgil and Konsa matching the Cherries centre half. Petrovic, Muniz and Solanke didn’t do much better with 2-a-piece. Thankfully our midfield trio all did relative...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW33

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW33 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW33 We have 3 weeks’ worth of results this week so I’ll not hang around yacking and get straight to it! GW30 A relatively high-scoring game with almost everyone getting the week’s FGS correct. Mfon3667 and SomHi3i duked it out for third place with 18pts whilst Shinespark looked on in amusement from their loft perch of second with 19pts. However laughing all the way to the GW30 title was asif888 who takes top-spot with a clean 20pts. Nice. GW31 In contrast to GW30, GW31 was a low-scoring affair. Sarri-ball, AJW, Ko NAY, Shinespark, sweetbluetoffee, Loud Atlas, bundeena bunnies, DMC shared third with 8pts, going one better for second it was Albox, PM, SomH3i, Leprechaun ...[Read More]

Inside The Mind Of An FPL Player Gameweek 33 Part 2

We have another one for you! This time its my good friend Odddane who gives us the low-down on how his season and in particular his recent weeks have played out! Enjoy! Over to you OD! The mysteries of OddDane’s inner workings, to which no one has an explanation. This piece, I feel, should come with a disclaimer. Kids don’t try this at home or don’t drink and transfer, something to that effect… My season this year has been quite, let’s say subpar (Narrator; the word he is looking for is appalling), which is partly self-inflicted (we’ll get to that) but also… *breathe* counts to ten *exhale* let’s call it variance… Last season was a bit off, however, this season has seen me doing not a few, but at least a handful of weeks with a 6,000,000 game week rank -or worse- (a good chunk of GWRs at ~...[Read More]

Inside The Mind Of An FPL Player Gameweek 33 Part 1

Inside The Mind Of An FPL Player Gameweek 33 Part 1 With FPL managers seemingly split into two camps at present, we thought we’d take this opportunity to see how a couple of our contributors are fairing. First off, what are these camps I speak of? Well, this may not apply to everyone, but for the most part, there seems to be two popular approaches at present: 1. FH29 build for DGW34, WC35, BB DGW37 OR 2. Built for 29, WC30/31, FH34 BB DGW37 As I said, this won’t be every manager’s approach, and whilst there may be slight tweaks on the above (i.e. BB DGW34), the above two approaches seem the most popular. So first off we have Matt. Matt went with option 2. How is he doing? I’ll let him tell you all about it. Sit back, grab your hot or cold beverage of choice and read on! Matt’s GW32 r...[Read More]

FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 32 Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 32 Back so soon? Yep. It’s back to Europe in midweek so this one is done and dusted in two days. Fantasy Football 247 Site Team Gameweek 32

Fantasy Football 247 Site Team Gameweek 32 Mo’ than one way to skin a cat Welcome to FF247 Site Team Gameweek 32 Going for the league and home to Sheffield United in a plum game to halve the goal difference at least? If there was ever an obvious captaincy choice, Mo Salah was IT. Heck! We’d have gone Triple Captain had we still had it. Alas, rubbish and off before 60 mins in the huff. Gotta love it. Luckily for us (we are quite lucky this season), we had the young team to call upon – Phil Foden & Cole Palmer – weighing in with 20 points EACH. Little legends. England for the Euros etc etc…. William Saliba and Illia Zabarnyi with 7 points each and that’s all she wrote. We scored 63 points this gameweek and a healthy 17 points above the average but we ...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW32

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW32 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW32 It’s yet another quick turnaround ahead of GW32 and we still haven’t located Jamesimmo from that gutter. So for now just get your next round in and we shall endeavour to update you next week with results and overall tables etc. THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… scoring couldn’t be much simpler: • Correct Score —> 3 points; • Correct Result —> 1 point; and • Correct First Goalscorer of the Gameweek —> 5 points. To clarify, this is who you think will score the first goal of the entire Gameweek, not just in any given match that you choose to pick yourself! Points above are awarded on an ‘either / or’ basis, so you’ll either score 3 points for a Correct Score or ...[Read More]
