Euro 2020/21 Fantasy Football

Welcome to the FF247 hub for the Euro’s. As per our Champions League article this shall be the main place for the duration of the comp and will act more as a destination to gather and discuss it all, rather than being anything of particular fantasy use.

What you need to know

How to play?
You have a couple of options here;

Alternatively you can simply update your UEFA Games App (the one you may have used for the CL) and it will show up as a dual purpose one with the Euros game on there.

The Rules
This game is exactly as per the CL one with in-game matchday-by-matchday substitutions and Capo changes available between each day.

We expect most of our league members will be au-fait with these rules but if you are unsure then simply ask in the comments below and somebody will always be on hand to explain further.

Hints, tips, squads, line-ups etc…
For once UEFA have actually made a pretty good job of this and so we won’t be bothering to post any of the above as articles as it is pretty much all there for you. They have the entire raft of squads posted on both their website and on their official App along with a run-down on every single team.

The FF247 League
We are not running a ‘public’ league for this one, we are keeping it in-house for the summer fun and as such we have our usual ‘Regulars League’. We did post the league code in the comments section previously but this has now disappeared. The good news is that the majority of our usual CL crew saw it and have already joined,

All we ask if you enter the league is that you please keep the code to yourself and don’t divulge it to family or friends who do not frequent the site. This is for the FF247 Community who will be commenting and interacting on here and we would like to keep it that way. Ivan (The Terrible) will be keeping a watch and if you do then expect to be dealt with harshly!

  1. Hey all, hope you’re all well and set for the Euros.
    How does this lot look?

    • I’d have a few worries there mate. Phillips, Chiesa, Castagne, Bastoni, Krul and Simon. Arnie could also be a worry.

    • Yeah its true a few are in doubt to start like Bastoni. I’m reading Simon is ahead of DDG and Krul has deputised for Cill lately each time his been missing.
      Its tough finding the nailed on starters for sure

      • DDG definitely won’t be no.1 but there is talk that Sanchez might be no.1 for his ball distribution. I would think it’s Krul but hearing a lot of Holland fans want it to be Steklenberg.

  2. Two questions people.

    A. Bednarek or Wijndal
    B. Best 7.0 mil mid ?

    • Kulusevski – attacking midfielder. He’s in my squad.

    • I think Mount should go well.
      Barella and Frenkie De Jong look good too for 7m

      • Cheers Photek. I currently have space for two 7.0 mids but wondering if I should may be go 5.5 and 8.5

        • Cheers Popz. I have Insigne. Current mid is Eriksen, Insig and then I’m thinking either 2 7.0 or another 8.5 and Yazici or Alaba

    • A. I’d rather have Wijndal but that’s Blind’s spot (I think). Bednarek more nailed though.
      B. The usual Mount and Chiesa but: Zieliński (POL) if you fancy a differential (2% owned) and don’t have Lewandowski. From what I’ve read, he plays as their most advanced midfielder.

      • Cheers L.A. If Netherlands stay with 5 then Wijndal and Blind play but if they return to 433 then I’d say Wijndal is dropped.
        I did have Zielinski but wasn’t sure on Poland apart from Lewa.

        • Is Pau Torres a risk?

        • Think he’s fine but definitely a risk with Garcia lurking

    England 5/1
    Germany 7/1
    France 9/2
    Belgium 11/2
    Spain 8/1
    Portugal 8/1
    Italy 8/1
    I think it will be a big surprise in the end. My money go to Croatia smile

    • And the worst? i.e. the one I don’t want in the office sweepstake? laugh

    • I was all for France winning but I have this feeling Italy could be a sneaky punt.

      • Germany vs Spain to win their 4th Euro trophy.
        Or, maybe France to equal the two above.
        Perhaps England finally get lucky and win it smile

        • England aren’t winning! I’d love if they did but I’m sure they will disappoint as usual!

        • Well, Ben White from Brighton has been selected as a replacement for TAA.
          Let’s see how that goes.

  4. Been a little bit since I was last here. See the Euro page is getting along. Nice.

    I just did some guesswork as I have no idea what I am doing. wacko

    • Busquets has covid 6 other players in a bubble don’t say which players which is not helpful

    • Welcome back, LRL! Captaincy-wise, change to Lukaku (then shift the armband over to Kane if Luk’ doesn’t perform).

      De Bruyne might miss the first game following minor facial surgery (Rüdiger clattered him in the UCL final).

      De Ligt might be out with an injury.

      Werner might not be nailed and you could probably spend the money on someone more likely to play like Depay – I haven’t checked price. I’m avoiding Germany for a while.

      The rest is great smile !
