Euro 2020/21 Fantasy Football
Welcome to the FF247 hub for the Euro’s. As per our Champions League article this shall be the main place for the duration of the comp and will act more as a destination to gather and discuss it all, rather than being anything of particular fantasy use.

The Rules
This game is exactly as per the CL one with in-game matchday-by-matchday substitutions and Capo changes available between each day.
We expect most of our league members will be au-fait with these rules but if you are unsure then simply ask in the comments below and somebody will always be on hand to explain further.

For once UEFA have actually made a pretty good job of this and so we won’t be bothering to post any of the above as articles as it is pretty much all there for you. They have the entire raft of squads posted on both their website and on their official App along with a run-down on every single team.
The FF247 League
We are not running a ‘public’ league for this one, we are keeping it in-house for the summer fun and as such we have our usual ‘Regulars League’. We did post the league code in the comments section previously but this has now disappeared. The good news is that the majority of our usual CL crew saw it and have already joined,

All we ask if you enter the league is that you please keep the code to yourself and don’t divulge it to family or friends who do not frequent the site. This is for the FF247 Community who will be commenting and interacting on here and we would like to keep it that way. Ivan (The Terrible) will be keeping a watch and if you do then expect to be dealt with harshly!

Diego Llorente becomes second Spain player to test positive for COVID-19
Diego Llorente has become the second player of Spain’s Euro 2020 squad to test positive for Covid-19.
The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) confirmed the news on Tuesday evening, two days after captain Sergio Busquets returned a positive result.
The Leeds defender has now left Spain’s training camp, Las Rozas, and the senior team remains in isolation.
Put one of the vaisenen lads in as a 4m playing defender only to be told he’s not in squad by the app! Great start…
At least the France team tonight looks like the XI will start against Germany
Starting to have doubts about Lewa.
Nothing after playing 81 minutes in a 2-2 draw with Iceland.

Yeah he has to drop deeper for Poland to get the ball. If he was in another team I’d be more convinced
I’d it such a bad idea to go with Nego. I mean he won’t get anything and gives you less a bench player but a 5.5 mid is unlikely to get anything anyway and cash goes a long way to getting a better midfielder

I really like Gilmour but he’s not the most attacking generally. I don’t know where Scotland have been playing him though as a kid he did play further forward
In all likelihood he won’t start on Monday. I think McGregor will play but there is clamour for him to start. He’s fresher than McGregor and looked good on Sunday when he came on. With McTominay in there, he is encouraged to get forward with us but we also have McGinn and we can’t commit two in that regard.
He’s not a conventional number 10 in our team anyway, put it that way!
Nope but I think he should be starting purely on quality over McGregor with Mcginn and Mctominay
Sweden’s Dejan Kulusevski and Mattias Svanberg both test positive for COVID-19
Dejan Kulusevski will be unavailable for Sweden’s opening Euro 2020 game against Spain after testing positive for COVID-19 — while Matthias Svanberg has also posted a positive test.
The Juventus winger has been left behind in Stockholm with the rest of the Sweden squad travelling to Gothenburg for the final part of their build-up to this summer’s European Championship. They face Spain on Monday next week in their first group stage game.
Svanberg travelled with the rest of the team to Gothenburg. But he was pulled to the side by the team doctor and left training after a positive test.
