Euro 2020/21 Fantasy Football

Welcome to the FF247 hub for the Euro’s. As per our Champions League article this shall be the main place for the duration of the comp and will act more as a destination to gather and discuss it all, rather than being anything of particular fantasy use.

What you need to know

How to play?
You have a couple of options here;

Click here to join via a desktop or webpage.

Alternatively you can simply update your UEFA Games App (the one you may have used for the CL) and it will show up as a dual purpose one with the Euros game on there.

The Rules
This game is exactly as per the CL one with in-game matchday-by-matchday substitutions and Capo changes available between each day.

We expect most of our league members will be au-fait with these rules but if you are unsure then simply ask in the comments below and somebody will always be on hand to explain further.

Or simply click here for the full explanation.

Hints, tips, squads, line-ups etc…
For once UEFA have actually made a pretty good job of this and so we won’t be bothering to post any of the above as articles as it is pretty much all there for you. They have the entire raft of squads posted on both their website and on their official App along with a run-down on every single team.

The FF247 League
We are not running a ‘public’ league for this one, we are keeping it in-house for the summer fun and as such we have our usual ‘Regulars League’. We did post the league code in the comments section previously but this has now disappeared. The good news is that the majority of our usual CL crew saw it and have already joined,

For anyone who didn’t then simply drop us an email on;

contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk

All we ask if you enter the league is that you please keep the code to yourself and don’t divulge it to family or friends who do not frequent the site. This is for the FF247 Community who will be commenting and interacting on here and we would like to keep it that way. Ivan (The Terrible) will be keeping a watch and if you do then expect to be dealt with harshly!

Thanks for reading Euro 2020/21 Fantasy Football

    Copa Fantasy: If anyone is interested and would not mind google translating language, can take a shot.

    Its WC every week and provides a live fantasy score update (which is fun as tackle/inter etc. has points). I played it before and its very easy to play. In Copa, there are 5 matchdays in group stage and only 4 matches per day. That makes it very easy to play – no planning is required. All of you can take a shot in any of the matchdays to get a feel (provided you manage time beyond Euro).

    The rules are here (I can also explain from my exp of playing it in last copa):

    Disclaimer: I do not know Spanish/Potugese, but a crazy football lover. …and in all honesty, I find COPA much more entertaining than EURO from football fan point of view.

    This is my third draft after changing my mind about Lewa and Arnautovic/Kalajdzic
    Have the fillings that this Lukaku euphoria is wrong and Kane should be in instead unknw

    Bruno is looking quite good as usual….So is Cancelo at right flank…not sure whether he will start vs Hungary.

    How do you like this side?
    I’m considering limitless in MD2, seems like the popular choice and this game is a fair bit different from FPL so I’m not keen on taking too many chances… smile

      Really like this team. Triple Italy could be a nice early boost.

      Dane, looks good with 3 Italian players.
      Going for the kill early doors is a good idea. The question is, as I’m also thinking to do the UL in MD2, who are you planning to bring?
      If Italy do well against Turkey, as expected, surely they can stay for the other two MDs against Switzerland and Wales.

      • OddDane says:

        For MD2 I really like France and England (Kane, Griezmann, Mbappe) and Netherlands (again)

        Else it’s Ukraine (many good options), Turkey (Yilmaz and Calhan.) and Croatia (also many options).

        I think Italy vs the Swiss guard is also ok, but it could also be a really tactical defensive stand off.

        • Not sure who started this idea for the UL chip to be used that early but still think there is a better time for it later in the tournament. Don’t forget, unlike FPL, this means no budget limit. You can fill the entire team with the most expensive players without worrying about prices. Maybe it’s best to be played after the last 16 round when 8 teams will be disqualified unknw
