Welcome to FF247 Site Team GW26

Last week we decided to roll one transfer but use the other. That move was one Liverpool player for another. We said goodbye to Trent and brought in VVD and the big Dutchman gave a real captain’s performance getting two 90 minute appearances and a bullet headed goal for a solid return of 10 points!.

We, like everyone else in the game, tripled captained the big blonde Norwegian and while it wasn’t an absolute monster score Haaland did get a goal and 2 bonus points for a TC total of 30 points.

We got some good returns from Saka (15 pts for the second week in a row), Saliba (6 pts), Alvarez (7 pts) and Darwin and Foden (both 5pts).

This gave us a final score of 88 pts, 15pts above the 73pt average. You would think being 15 points over the average manager would result in a green arrow but a curse of being so high in the ranks means we actually ended up on a red arrow going from 3,886 to 4,436.

Our Gameweek 25 Result

We have £2.1m in the bank and 2 free transfers to use ahead of GW26. Let’s go see what was decided….

Our GW26 Transfer(s)

Things were very easy and amicable in the Site Team offices this week. We had a few blanks and a few red flags so there were some easy options to decide. Jota is out for atleast 2 months so was first name out the door and swiftly followed by his teammate, Darwizzy who blanks this week.

With the 2fts we were able to get back to 11 players without any hits and we replaced the two Liverpool boys with the top scoring forward in the game, Ollie Watkins. With 8.9 mil to replace a midfielder, we had a lot of room to choose 3 names were proposed but we went with the Attack Sheffield United plan so Hee-Chan Hwang is the new addition to our midfield. With Haaland taking the armband it was all very quick decisions.

To confirm then we have SOLD Jota and Darwin and BOUGHT Watkins and Hwang

Captain – Haaland

PREDICTED LINE-UPS

Back by popular demand! Well, sort of… Drafthound have changed their line-up approach this season and what it means for us is that we are no longer able to display a live feed of it on here due to some technical difficulties. That said, what they have done looks great and is still only a click away so if you want to access those they are HERE

When you score a massive score and still end up with a red arrow. It’s tough at the top!

Hi S, if it helps you’re thinking, I’m doing Jota and Gusto out, and then getting in Wolves and Brighton players. You’d at least have 10 players and the -4 would be negligible as most people are probably doing the same.

Areola over Dubravka too. Newcastle’s defence has gone to pot recently!

I would save the FH. At best you’ll gain 3 players where you could gain much more using it in a DGW

Evening folks… I’m hoping to navigate the upcoming blanks and doubles without using any chips. I’ve got 1.7 ITB and 1 FT. Which of these do you like?

    1) Darwin to Solanke (attacks DGW28 but doesn’t help BGW29)
    2) Darwin to Toney (doesn’t help DGW but helps BGW29)
    3) Darwin to Hojlund (focus on form)
    4) Palmer to Hee Chan (popular signing but doesn’t help BGW29)
    5) Gordon to Hee Chan (see above!)
    6) Any other ideas I’m not seeing?

    Thanks.

Hi everyone. I’ve been hearing all the noise about Wolves, Brighton, MU assets and whoever, but what has been dragging me down over the past few game weeks is my selling of Watkins and Saka – I’ve been struck down in a monumental biblical fashion in fact, so my moves are obvious! (I.e. I’m keeping Richo and Palmer and selling Jota & Darwin for ….guess who?).
    See you all round!
    😉

Pretty set on jota and Darwin for hwang and solanke. Do I take a -8 to do eze out for either garnacho or david Luiz? If I keep eze he should be back for gw27 but means I have to rely on taylor this week. Prob gonna fh gw29 so who’s better Luiz or garnacho?
