Welcome to FF247 Site Team GW26

Last week we decided to roll one transfer but use the other. That move was one Liverpool player for another. We said goodbye to Trent and brought in VVD and the big Dutchman gave a real captain’s performance getting two 90 minute appearances and a bullet headed goal for a solid return of 10 points!.

We, like everyone else in the game, tripled captained the big blonde Norwegian and while it wasn’t an absolute monster score Haaland did get a goal and 2 bonus points for a TC total of 30 points.

We got some good returns from Saka (15 pts for the second week in a row), Saliba (6 pts), Alvarez (7 pts) and Darwin and Foden (both 5pts).

This gave us a final score of 88 pts, 15pts above the 73pt average. You would think being 15 points over the average manager would result in a green arrow but a curse of being so high in the ranks means we actually ended up on a red arrow going from 3,886 to 4,436.

Our Gameweek 25 Result

We have £2.1m in the bank and 2 free transfers to use ahead of GW26. Let’s go see what was decided….

Our GW26 Transfer(s)

Things were very easy and amicable in the Site Team offices this week. We had a few blanks and a few red flags so there were some easy options to decide. Jota is out for atleast 2 months so was first name out the door and swiftly followed by his teammate, Darwizzy who blanks this week.

With the 2fts we were able to get back to 11 players without any hits and we replaced the two Liverpool boys with the top scoring forward in the game, Ollie Watkins. With 8.9 mil to replace a midfielder, we had a lot of room to choose 3 names were proposed but we went with the Attack Sheffield United plan so Hee-Chan Hwang is the new addition to our midfield. With Haaland taking the armband it was all very quick decisions.

To confirm then we have SOLD Jota and Darwin and BOUGHT Watkins and Hwang

Captain – Haaland

PREDICTED LINE-UPS

Back by popular demand! Well, sort of… Drafthound have changed their line-up approach this season and what it means for us is that we are no longer able to display a live feed of it on here due to some technical difficulties. That said, what they have done looks great and is still only a click away so if you want to access those they are HERE

I’d do a -4 or else it is a 10. Effectively a -2 then. Can you grab a Villa defender?

You’ll bring Solanke eventually for his double so there is that to consider, but more in terms of paying that forwards, rather than possibly this week.

Is this ok for a wc team leaving money for KDB to salah asap. It’s just nit really exciting. I have no defenders so going to have to take hit after hit to get a team. When was everyone else planning to wc I usually leave it to near the end of the season so a bit panicky

      Hi Joanne
Maybe excessive to wc just to change your defenders? Clean sheets have been hard to come by this season, so it’s not that having a defender or two short will necessarily damage your score very much. Maybe just do two transfers based on immediate fixtures – eg a Brighton defender (three good fixtures coming up) and one from Wolves, who are playing Sheffield United.

The team is fine Joanne but am I right in saying it’s just the defenders you have swapped looking at you team posted above? I wouldn’t waste a WC just for defenders. A couple of hits this week will be fine. Even fielding 9 is ok as defenders haven’t been too consistent this season so you’re unlikely to miss out much on points

Hi all. I can field a team, just not a great one. How best to plumb Hee Chan in here? Cash has been a disaster for me and I can’t seem to get rid of him. Estupian has lost his place? It’s messy.
