Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 17

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 17. This is our last ‘normal gameweek’ for a while; one that is separated by about a week anyway, without other ones following on in quick succession. The 4 gameweeks which follow this will be condensed into 14 days. And you thought rotation was bad last week?! This one may be more normal, or so you’d think…

We begin with Man City looking to respond to a rare defeat at home to Everton at lunchtime on Saturday. This is followed by five 3pm games; Palace look for a rare home win against Leicester, Huddersfield vs Newcastle promises to be a thriller *sighs, Spurs will be hoping Burnley haven’t quite found the eye of the tiger just yet, whilst Watford and Wolves will both be hoping to return to their early season form against Cardiff and Bournemouth.

Fulham will look to bounce back after their embarrassing Old Trafford mauling against a resurgent West Ham in the Saturday evening game.

Sunday begins with two games at 1.30pm with Brighton hosting Chelsea and Saints welcoming Arsenal before our gameweek ends at 4pm with Liverpool’s annual Cup Final that is Man United.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 17 from all at FF247!

oh matty. 9th times the charm for kloppo!!!

I’m just glad we have a bench this season. Gary Neville was saying that this game last year Klopp was playing for the draw and bringing on defensive players but this year we had Shaqiri and Studge and even Lallana so there were options but Shaq is definitely the key.

+ 1 . i just want gomez and matip next month healed up and ready for the 2nd half of the marathon. the wolves test will be very interesting this friday and we should comfortably beat newcastle on boxing day unless rosco thinks otherwise!

        • MattX says:

Definetly agree on the Gomez front but I wouldn’t be too pushed about Matip tbh. I’d actually be more worried about Wolves than United; they are a much more attacking team and they have nothing to worry about so will go hell for leather. Rafa could throw up a surprise so I wouldn’t be too sure on that one either but I’d say Rosco would agree with me if I said Liverpool definitely have the advantage!

indeed. will be an interesting finish to the month with arsenal coming to anfield. looking forward to round 2 of that!

this is surely annoying. have robbo, doherty, wan bissaka and coleman. with the latter 2 facing city and spurs, my transfer of the week would either take out bellerin/coleman for a west ham defender or maybe tripper.
